Automated image processing and content curation
11637797 · 2023-04-25 · ·

Systems, devices, methods, media, and instructions for automated image processing and content curation are described. In one embodiment a server computer system receives a content message from a first content source, and analyzes the content message to determine one or more quality scores and one or more content values associated with the content message. The server computer system analyzes the content message with a plurality of content collections of the database to identify a match between at least one of the one or more content values and a topic associated with at least a first content collection of the one or more content collections and automatically adds the content message to the first content collection based at least in part on the match. In various embodiments, different content values, image processing operations, and content selection operations are used to curate content collections.

Method and apparatus for processing webpage, device, and storage medium

The present application provides a method and an apparatus for processing webpage, a device and storage medium, involving the terminal vision technology. The specific implementation is: when a server determines that a current network meets a preset condition and a webpage to be displayed includes an image required to be displayed, the server sends a static data resource corresponding to the image required to be displayed to the terminal. The preset condition includes at least one of the following: the current network being a mobile network, a bandwidth of the current network being less than a preset bandwidth, and a rate of the current network being less than a preset rate. Therefore, it is unnecessary to send a static data resource corresponding to an image not required to be displayed to the terminal, thereby reducing a traffic consumption and at the meanwhile, improving an integrity and coherence of the webpage.

Systems, and methods for predicting that a user is located at a labeled place corresponding to a point of interest. A server computer accesses historical data comprising location data, and wireless network data collected from a plurality of client devices of a plurality of users over a period of time. For one or more labeled places, the data points corresponding to one of the users being located at the labeled place are identified. A labeled dataset is generated by tagging the identified data points with a label corresponding to the corresponding labeled place. A machine learning model is trained on the labeled dataset, so that when current location data are receiving from a client device of a user, it is possible to determine, using the trained machine learning model, whether the user is located at one of the one or more labeled places.

Method and system consist of a mobile application installed on a mobile device with internet connection and a geographical positioning device; a remote hosting server configured with software and database; an onsite wireless communication hosting apparatus. The mobile application communicates with the remote hosting server and the onsite wireless communication apparatus. The remote hosting server and onsite wireless communication apparatus communicate and transfer data to one another, the remote hosting server communicates with third party databases via secured access and retrieves location related information requested by onsite users of the mobile device. Web users at anywhere may select a location displayed on a digital map over interface of a web application configured to the remote hosting server; access the same as onsite users; including data entered by location owners, received from third-party databases via secured connection, and uploaded from onsite wireless communication apparatus.

Mitigating malware in media
11601814 · 2023-03-07 · ·

Techniques for neutralizing malicious malware embedded in a media item being sent to a user equipment (UE) are discussed herein. A network device may receive (e.g., intercept) a medial file in transit via a wireless communication network being sent to a UE. The media file may include some type of perceptible content (e.g., audio, video, image data, etc.) as well as malware embedded in the media file. The network device may generate a transcoded media file based on the received media file that includes the perceptible content while neutralizing the malware.

OFFLINE EMAIL SYNCHRONIZATION

Examples described herein include systems and methods for performing email synchronization in situations where mobile-device connectivity is lacking. The mobile device can send an SMS message to an email notification server requesting email synchronization and the email notification server can request synchronization with the email server associated with the user's email account. After receiving an email from the email server, the email notification server cart encrypt the email and break it into various chunks, with each chunk including a header having identifying information. The chunks can be transmitted as SMS messages to the mobile device, The email application can retrieve the SMS messages, decrypt them, and reconstruct the email. The email application can then display the email for the user.

LOCATION-BASED SEARCH MECHANISM IN A GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE

A social media platform provides a map-based graphical user interface (GUI) for accessing social media content submitted for public accessibility via the social media platform supported by the map-based GUI. The GUI includes a map providing interactive location-based searching functionality in that selection of a target location by the user in the GUI, such as by tapping or clicking at the target location, triggers a search for social media content having geo-tag data indicating geographic locations within a geographical search area centered on the target location.

CONTENT NAVIGATION WITH AUTOMATED CURATION

Systems, devices, methods, media, and instructions for automated image processing and content curation are described. In one embodiment a server computer system communicates at least a portion of a first content collection to a first client device, and receives a first selection communication in response, the first selection communication identifying a first piece of content of the first plurality of pieces of content. The server analyzes analyzing the first piece of content to identify a set of context values for the first piece of content, and accesses accessing a second content collection comprising pieces of content sharing at least a portion of the set of context values of the first piece of content. In various embodiments, different content values, image processing operations, and content selection operations are used to curate the content collections.

Unification sublayer for multi-connection communication

Managing Internet Protocol (IP) flows to produce multi-connection communication is contemplated, such as but not necessarily limited to managing a single IP flow simultaneously through disparate physical layers (PHYs). A unification sublayer may be configured as a logical interface between a network layer and a data link layer and/or the disparate PHYs to facilitating partitioning of IP packets included in the IP flow.
