Apparatus, mobile terminal, and method to estimate quality of experience of application
A method of notifying estimated QoEs (Quality of Experiences) for applications between a mobile terminal and a plurality of application servers that provide services of the applications, may measure first QoEs for the applications between the apparatus and the mobile terminal, measure second QoEs for the applications between the apparatus and the application server, estimate the estimated QoEs for the applications, based on the first and second QoEs for the applications, and notify the estimated QoEs to the mobile terminal.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ACCESSING HISTORICAL SENSOR DATA WITHOUT LOCATION SERVICES
A method includes receiving, by a mobile device, a notification, executing, in response to receiving the notification, a data collection application over a time interval, and requesting, by the data collection application, sensor measurements from an operating system of the mobile device. The sensor measurements are collected prior to receiving the notification and before execution of the data collection application. The method also includes receiving, by the data collection application and from the operating system, a set of sensor measurements and transmitting, by the data collection application, the sensor measurements to a server during the time interval. The data collection application terminates upon expiration of the time interval.
Method and apparatus for content presentation in association with a communication connection
A method and apparatus are provided for presenting content to a caller and/or a called party in association with a telephone call or other communication connection. Content may be presented pre-ring (before the called party's telephone rings), in-call, and/or post-call, and may be related to a party participating in the call or may be related to a third party. Presentation of specified content may include assisted sharing, wherein both parties view the same content and one guides or assists the other. A received call may be split into signal and voice channels, with the signal channel used to notify a call controller of the call and the voice channel being directed to an agent selected by the call controller to handle the call.

Mated universal serial bus (USB) wireless dongles configured with destination addresses
A mated pair of Universal Serial Bus (USB) wireless dongles are disclosed. The dongles comprise a first USB dongle that comprises a first processor, a first read only memory (ROM) storing an address of a second USB dongle, a first radio transceiver, a first USB connector, and a first application. When executed by the first processor, the first application receives a USB formatted message from the first USB connector; transcodes the USB formatted message for wireless transmission; transmits the transcoded message to the address of the second dongle. The dongles further comprise the second dongle, which comprises a second processor, a second ROM storing an address of the first dongle, a second radio transceiver, a second USB connector, a second application that, when executed by the second processor, receives the message from the first dongle; confirms that the first USB is its mate; and communicates with the first dongle.

Distributed storage systems and methods
The inventive subject matter provides apparatus, systems, and methods of pre-loading (or caching) activatable content to several mobile devices for future use by at least one of the mobile devices. The mobile devices are communicatively coupled with each other to form a distribute storage network. The pre-loaded content can be used by applications executed in any one of the mobile devices within the network. A content server is configured to transmit portions of the content to the mobile devices upon detection that a subset of conditions within the multi-conditional content activation criteria has been satisfied. The content server is configured to transmit the entire content when all conditions within the multi-conditional content activation criteria has been satisfied. The content server then activates the content when a content activation event is detected.
