Just-in-Time Distributed Video Cache

A video optimizer receives a request to optimize a source file and stream the optimized file. The request may be accompanied by a key uniquely identifying the original source file to be optimized and an optimized version of the source file to stream to the client. The key uniquely identifies the source video file as it exists on an origin server to prevent transmission of modified source video and the optimized version of the source file by optimization parameters to ensure compatibility with the user device. The video optimizer queries a cache database in response to the received request, which contains references keys and locations of optimized source files among local caches in a cluster of video optimizers. The cache database responds indicates whether a matching optimized version of the source file exists in a local cache of a given video optimizer in the cluster.

ON-PREMISES AGENT FOR MOBILE CLOUD SERVICE

Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for an agent device within a company's network firewall to initiate an HTTP connection with a cloud-based gateway and then upgrade the connection to a WebSockets protocol in order to have an interactive session. Over this interactive session, a mobile device, which connects to the cloud-based intermediary, can request data from servers inside the company's firewalls. Because the firewall is traversed using HTTP protocols (with WebSockets), it can be as safe as letting employees browse the web from inside the company's network.

A first network node of a first frequency layer, acquires (201) information on services that are offered by a second network node at a second, different frequency layer. The second network node is within the coverage area of the first network node. The first network node broadcasts (202) a service advertisement message to at least one terminal device (UE) for advertising the services offered by the second network node at the second frequency layer.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VERIFYING WIRELESS CONNECTION BETWEEN MEDICAL DEVICES

A method for verifying wireless devices connected to a wireless medical body area network, MBAN, is provided. The method comprises activating a request for verification by a user activating the request for verification on any one of the wireless devices; receiving the request for verification by the any one wireless device of the wireless MBAN; and indicating a plurality of wireless devices connected to the wireless MBAN by displaying an indication on the plurality of wireless devices. A wireless MBAN comprising wireless devices. The wireless MBAN comprises each wireless device being configured for an activation of a verification; and a plurality of the wireless devices being configured to display an identification upon the activation of the verification.

Systems and methods for multi-modal transfer capabilities for smart infrastructure

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for improved smart infrastructure data transfer. An example method may involve receiving, by a smart infrastructure device and from a first vehicle, first information associated with the first vehicle in a first format associated with a first communication protocol. The first information is converted from the first format into an agnostic format. An image, video, or real-time feed of an environment of the smart infrastructure device is captured. The first vehicle and a second vehicle in the image, video, or real-time feed is identified. It is determined that the second vehicle is temporarily or permanently incapable of performing a communication with the smart infrastructure device based on the image, video, or real-time feed. The image, video, or real-time feed is analyzed to generate second information associated with the second vehicle. The second information is converted into the agnostic format.

Method and system consist of a mobile application installed on a mobile device with internet connection and a geographical positioning device; a remote hosting server configured with software and database; an onsite wireless communication hosting apparatus. The mobile application communicates with the remote hosting server and the onsite wireless communication apparatus. The remote hosting server and onsite wireless communication apparatus communicate and transfer data to one another, the remote hosting server communicates with third party databases via secured access and retrieves location related information requested by onsite users of the mobile device. Web users at anywhere may select a location displayed on a digital map over interface of a web application configured to the remote hosting server; access the same information and multimedia programs as onsite users; including data entered by location owners, received from third-party databases via secured connection, and uploaded from onsite wireless communication apparatus.

Methods and apparatus to compensate for server-generated errors in database proprietor impression data due to misattribution and/or non-coverage

Methods and apparatus to compensate impression data for misattribution and non-coverage are disclosed. An example method includes receiving a first request from a first type of computing device; sending a request for demographic information corresponding to requests received at a first internet domain from the first type of computing device; generating an aggregated audience distribution including a first audience distribution of a first household aggregated with a second audience distribution of a second household; normalizing the aggregated audience distribution to generate a misattribution correction matrix, the misattribution correction matrix including a probability that an impression of the media is attributable to a first demographic group when the database proprietor determines the impression corresponds to a person in a second demographic group; and compensating misattribution error in the impressions by re-assigning the impressions from the second demographic group to the first demographic group using the misattribution correction matrix.
