Systems and methods for 5G location support using service based interfaces
Methods and techniques are described for supporting location services for a user equipment (UE) using a location server and service based interfaces (SBIs) and SBI service operations in a Fifth Generation wireless network. The location server may be, e.g., a Location Management Function (LMF). The LMF may be in either a serving Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) for a UE or in a Home PLMN for a roaming UE. The LMF may receive a location service request for the UE using an SBI and may communicate with another entity in the network, through a second entity and using an SBI, to obtain location information for the UE measured by the other entity. The LMF may determine a location for the UE based on the location information.
Apparatus and server for sharing position information of vehicle
An apparatus for sharing location information of a vehicle may include: a communication circuit configured to communicate with a server, and a processor electrically connected with the communication circuit. The processor may be configured to receive, via the communication circuit, authentication information for sharing the location information of the vehicle from the server; transmit, via the communication circuit, the authentication information to an external device, which is a target for sharing the authentication information, such that the external device receives the location information from the server; and acquire the location information from the server using the authentication information.
System and method for data interrogation and/or remote programming of a medical device
A system includes at least one medical device (7), a remote monitoring server (RMS, 1) and at least one patient remote device (PR, 5). The the PR is configured to establish a first bidirectional communication connection (12, 14) of the PR and the RMS and a second bidirectional communication connection (13, 14) of the PR and one chosen medical device, wherein the PR is further configured to manage remote processes associated with the chosen medical device comprising remote interrogation of the chosen medical device and remote programming of the chosen medical device using the second bidirectional communication connection as well as data exchange with the RMS concerning interrogation data and/or program data with regard to the chosen medical device using the first bidirectional communication connection.
