Methods for handling anomaly notification messages
In systems and methods for communicating an anomaly notification message to a wireless communication network, a wireless device may generate an anomaly notification message comprising an anomaly notification object in response to determining that the received information satisfies one or more threshold criteria indicative of the anomaly condition, configure the anomaly notification message with a transport layer anomaly code, and send sending the configured anomaly notification message via an anomaly-specific network communication link to a wireless communication network. A communication network device may receive the anomaly notification message, and in response to determining that the anomaly notification message was received via the anomaly-specific network communication link may associate the anomaly notification message with an anomaly priority that is higher than a normal traffic priority.

Wireless network device and user equipment, and method and system for wireless communication
The invention provides for a wireless communications terminal (502), and related system and method, for wirelessly communicating with a network (504, 506). The terminal (502) is arranged to transmit, as part of a wireless connection establishment procedure for forming a wireless connection between the terminal (502) and the network (504, 506), wireless-connection establishment signalling (510) including a small-data indicator to indicate to the network (504) that transmission of an amount of data below a threshold value is required from the terminal (502) by way of the wireless connection to the network (504, 506).

Method and apparatus for perception-sharing between vehicles
A method for perception-sharing between similarly-situated vehicles that are traveling on a portion of a roadway that is equipped with an intelligent vehicle highway system is described, and includes executing, in a multi-access edge computing cluster in communication with a roadside unit disposed to monitor a roadway, an application-layer routine. The application-layer routine includes collecting real-time data associated with a plurality of objects from each of the similarly-situated vehicles, predicting motion of each of the plurality of objects based upon the real-time data, object-matching the motion of each of the plurality of objects, and executing fusion of the plurality of objects based upon the object-matching of the motion of each of the plurality of objects. Locations of the similarly-situated vehicles traveling on the roadway are identified based upon the fusion of the plurality of objects. The locations are communicated to one of the similarly-situated vehicles.
Establishing data channels between user devices and remote systems
Techniques for establishing communication channels between user devices experiencing network connectivity issues and remote communication systems are described herein. The techniques include the use of a secondary device to act as a proxy, or a “middle man,” to facilitate the communications with the user device. A user device may detect lack of network connectivity, and begin broadcasting advertisement messages that indicate the lack of connectivity. A secondary device may detect the advertisement message, and send a discovery message to a connectivity system indicating that it detected the advertisement message. The connectivity system can provide this information to a remote communication system, and the remote communication system can establish a connection with the secondary device and instruct the secondary device to establish a connection with the user device. The remote communication system then has a communication channel with the user device, using the secondary device, to troubleshoot the user device.
Low level smartphone audio and sensor clock synchronization
An approach to obtain low latency association of the audio clock in a smartphone with an incoming RF message is to use an interrupt driven routine, where the receipt of the RF message preamble generates an interrupt that reads the audio clock counter since the start of the audio session. In some embodiments such an approach may be implemented on the specialized processing cores found in smartphones that control RF communication, sensor or audio processing.
CALL FLOW SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USE IN A LEGACY TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method of operating a network server, such as a mobile application gateway, connect devices on a cellular or carrier network with individual networks, such as enterprise voice and data networks or residential networks. The effects of the present invention are far reaching in terms of transferring effective call control from the cellular network into the control of the individual network, such as the enterprise, and enabling new business models for the purchase of cellular service from a public cellular carrier by an enterprise.
AUTOMATICALLY PROVIDING A COMMUNICATION BASED ON LOCATION INFORMATION FOR A USER OF A SOCIAL NETWORKING SYSTEM
Systems and methods for automatically locating web-based social network members are provided. According to one embodiment, contact content including an associated GPS identifier and status for web-based social network members located at or near the same location automatically appears on a GPS-enabled device. A further exemplary system includes a GPS-enabled device configured to receive a GPS identifier and a status representing a location and a current state for a web-based social network member, a processing module that associates the received GPS-identifier and the received status, and a communications module that sends the associated GPS-identifier and status to a server comprising a web-based social network database. Contact content in a web-based social network database record in the web-based social network database is updated to include the associated GPS identifier and status for the web-based social network member.
Systems and Methods for Transmitting Haptic Messages
Systems and methods for transmitting haptic messages are disclosed. For example, one disclosed method includes the steps of: receiving at least one sensor signal from at least one sensor of a mobile device, the at least one sensor signal associated with a movement of the mobile device, determining a message to be displayed in a user interface based at least in part on the at least one sensor signal, and causing the message to be displayed.
