Method and Apparatus for Indoor Location Estimation Among Peer-To-Peer Devices
Methods and apparatus perform location estimation among peer-to-peer devices. For the various methods, data of several different types, such as received signal strength, timing measurements, time stamps, actual transmit power, etc., is measured, stored, and propagated within a peer-to-peer network to enable each device in the peer-to-peer network to calculate positioning coordinates for one or more devices having unknown positioning coordinates.

Location aware authorization system
Methods, computing devices, and systems that dynamically determine whether a service request is authorized or fraudulent are described herein. A computing device may receive a request from a user device, and a geographical location of the user device may be determined based on a signal received from the user device. A determination as to whether to activate the service or not may be made based on the determined geographical location of the user device.

USING A PREDICTIVE REQUEST MODEL TO OPTIMIZE PROVIDER RESOURCES
The present application discloses an improved transportation matching system, and corresponding methods and computer-readable media. According to disclosed embodiments, a transportation matching system trains a predictive request model to generate a metric predicted to trigger an increase in transportation provider activity within the geographic area for a given time period. Furthermore, the system determines a predicted gap between expected request activity and expected transportation provider activity for the geographic area during a future time period, utilizes the predictive request model and the predicted gap to generate a metric for the geographic area, and generates an interactive map associated with a customized schedule for the geographic area and the future time period based on the generated metric.
