There is provided an apparatus, said apparatus comprising means for providing first control information using a first control channel and at least second control information using a second control channel, wherein the first control information comprises at least an indication of resource reservation for an associated data channel and the second control information comprises at least transmission format information for the associated data channel, wherein the associated data channel comprises periodic or aperiodic data traffic.

CONNECTED SYSTEM FOR TRACKING OF TAGGED OBJECTS

A tracking system for tracking of objects to be transported by at least one transport vehicle is provided. The tracking system includes object sets comprising an object and at least one tagging device with unique identification signal to be permanently sent out and received by a short-range wireless communication unit arrangeable in the transport vehicle. The tracking system further comprises, arrangeable in the transport vehicle, an electronic main controller unit, operatively coupled at least to the short-range wireless communication unit, and a telematics control unit for communicating with a cloud-based computer system.

AUTOMATIC CONNECTION TO WORK SITE EQUIPMENT GROUPINGS

A work site equipment grouping system includes a plurality of work machines including a first work machine and a second work machine. Each work machine is configured to wirelessly communicate with other work machines. The system further includes a local area network including a plurality of communicatively connected nodes, the nodes including the first work machine and the second work machine. The system further includes a third work machine configured to detect one of the first work machine or the second work machine within a signal range of the third work machine and, upon detecting one of the first work machine or the second work machine, automatically join the local area network.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HANDLING DISCONTINUOUS RECEPTION (DRX) TIMER FOR DATA RECEPTION OF UNICAST AND MULTICAST IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
20230224090 · 2023-07-13 ·

In an example, a User Equipment (UE) receives and/or detects a transmission of data from a network. The transmission of the data is addressed to a Group Radio Network Temporary Identifier (G-RNTI) for a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) process. In response to receiving and/or detecting the transmission of the data, the UE (i) starts a first HARQ Round Trip Time (RTT) timer associated with the G-RNTI for the HARQ process, and (ii) starts a second HARQ RTT timer associated with a Cell Radio Network Temporary Identifier (C-RNTI) for the HARQ process. The UE starts a multicast retransmission timer for the HARQ process in response to expiry of the first HARQ RTT timer. The UE starts a unicast retransmission timer for the HARQ process in response to expiry of the second HARQ RTT timer. The UE receives and/or detects a first retransmission of the DL data addressed to the G-RNTI for the HARQ process. In response to receiving and/or detecting the first retransmission of the data, the UE (i) stops the multicast retransmission timer, and (ii) stops the unicast retransmission timer.
