DYNAMICALLY UNSUBSCRIBING FROM A PLMN/NPN SERVICE
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for dynamically unsubscribing from a public land mobile network (PLMN)/non-private network (NPN) service. In example embodiments, a method is provided. The method comprises transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), at least one first message (112, 114) associated with registering with at least one network, wherein the at least one first message (112, 114) includes first information that indicates whether the user equipment (UE) is capable of unsubscribing from one or more services associated with the at least one network; and receiving, by the user equipment (UE), at least one second message (124) associated with accepting registration of the user equipment (UE) with the at least one network, wherein the at least one second message (124) includes second information that indicates whether the user equipment (UE) is allowed to unsubscribe from the one or more services.
USER EQUIPMENT (UE) SERVICE OVER A NETWORK EXPOSURE FUNCTION (NEF) IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK
A wireless communication network serves User Equipment (UEs) over a Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Network Exposure Function (NEF). The wireless communication network comprises a non-3GPP Interworking Function (IWF) and the 3GPP NEF. The non-3GPP IWF receives NEF Application Programming Interface (API) calls that have UE data from the UEs over non-3GPP access nodes. The non-3GPP IWF transfers the NEF API calls that have the UE data to the 3GPP NEF. The 3GPP NEF receives the NEF API calls that have the UE data from the non-3GPP IWF. The 3GPP NEF exposes the UE data to an Application Functions (AF) in response to the NEF API calls.

ESIM profile discovery
Mobile devices are provisioned that do not have a direct communications path to a data network. A proximate device is discovered that is available for connecting to the mobile device via a peer-to-peer connection. The proximate device is determined to be trusted by the mobile device and usable to communicate to the data network A peer-to-peer connection is established with the proximate device. Identification data is provided to the proximate device, and an activation code is received. The mobile device communicates to the mobile network operator indicated by the activation code. Subscription credentials are received for accessing a mobile network operated by the mobile network operator.
Accessing client credential sets using a key
Techniques are disclosed relating to a computer system accessing a client credential set to authenticate with a destination computer system. A computer system may, subsequent to receiving an indication to make available an application for a particular user, retrieve configuration data specifying a reference to a key value. The computer system may maintain a data object that includes a client credential set for the particular user. In response to an occurrence of an event associated with the application, the computer system may access the client credential set of the particular user from the data object using the key value and an indication of the particular user. The computer system may then send a request including the client credential set to a destination computer system for authentication with the destination computer system and receive a response indicating whether the computer system has been authenticated.
Mobile and IoT device forwarding to the cloud
A method, implemented in a cloud-based system, includes, responsive to a client device having a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card therein connecting to a mobile network from a mobile network operator, receiving authentication of the client device based on the SIM card; receiving forwarded traffic from the client device; and processing the forwarded traffic according to policy, wherein the policy is determined based on one of a user of the client device and a type of the client device, each being determined based on the SIM card.

Mitigation of cyberattacks on cellular devices
A pause command is sent to a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card of a cellular device in response to detecting a cyberattack against the cellular device on the cellular network. To mitigate the cyberattack, the SIM card temporarily disconnects the cellular device from the cellular network for a pause time. The SIM card prohibits the cellular device from connecting to the cellular network during the pause time and automatically allows the cellular device to reconnect to the cellular network after the pause time.
Communication Connection Method and Electronic Device
A communication connection method and an electronic device are provided. The method includes establishing, by an electronic device, a first communication connection based on a first profile, where the eSIM comprises the first profile, in response to an operation of establishing a communication connection based on a second profile, establishing, by the electronic device, a second communication connection based on the second profile without terminating the first communication connection, where the first profile and the second profile are comprised in the same eSIM, and the first profile is different from the second profile.
System and method for pushing messages to a mobile communications device
A method disclosed herein provides for pushing messages to a mobile communications device. An application on the mobile communications receives a pushed message including a set of instructions which when executed cause the mobile communications device to connect to an application server associated with the application executing on the mobile communications device. The pushed message is sent to the mobile communications device by a push mechanism that is one of a plurality of push mechanisms selected by a push service system in response to the push service system receiving a message send request from the application server. Once the mobile communications device is connected to the application server, the mobile communications device receives information messages from the application server.
