The notification solution is deployed in the form of a mobile software application which can be downloaded by end users to their personal mobile device and used to sync with desired notification system(s). A mobile software application, commonly referred to as an “app,” is downloaded to a user's mobile device, such as a smart phone or tablet computer. Once there, the user can be notified of any emergency or non-emergency notifications by others in any networks the user joins. Signing up to new networks for new notifications, the user is never required to provide any personally identifiable information.

The selection of the particular pharmacy is received from a computing device associated with the patient. In response to receiving the selection, the electronic prescription is routed to the particular pharmacy.

The UE may receive downlink traffic packets from the MeNB and from the SeNB as part of a split data radio bearer (DRB). At least a portion of control functionality for the split DRB may be performed at each of the MeNB and the SeNB. The UE may receive an uplink eNB indicator for an uplink eNB to which the UE is to transmit uplink traffic packets as part of the split DRB. Based at least partly on the uplink eNB indicator, the UE may transmit uplink traffic packets to the uplink eNB as part of the split DRB. The uplink eNB may be selected from a group that includes the MeNB and the SeNB.
