METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AUTHENTICATING AND AUTHORIZING NETWORK FUNCTION IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. Provided is a method by which a network function (NF) service consumer entity operates in a wireless communication system. The method by which the NF service consumer entity operates includes transmitting, to a service communication proxy (SCP) entity, a service request message including at least one of a client credentials assertion (CCA) credential of the NF service consumer entity, or information related to an NF service producer entity, receiving, from the SCP entity, a service response message, wherein the service response message generated by the NF service producer entity is forwarded by the SCP entity to the NF service consumer entity, and authenticating the NF service producer entity based on the service response message.
CENTRALIZED CHANNEL ACCESS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sidelink communications in an unlicensed spectrum. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS) includes sensing, prior to a start of a time window, a frequency band to determine whether the frequency band is idle, the time window divided in time into a plurality of time periods, the frequency band divided in time across multiple of the plurality of time periods into a corresponding plurality of resources comprising one or more unassigned resources and one or more assigned resources assigned to one or more other wireless communication devices for wireless communication.
INTEGRATED ACCESS AND BACKHAUL SIDELINK FUNCTION CONTROL
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station (e.g., a central unit (CU) function of the base station) may select, from a set of distributed units (DUs) associated with the CU, a DU of an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node to control sidelink communications for a user equipment (UE). The base station may determine a configuration of sidelink parameters for the sidelink communications with the UE, the sidelink parameters comprising an identification of the selected DU. The base station may transmit, to the TAB node performing sidelink communications with the UE, an indication of the configuration of sidelink parameters for the sidelink communications.
METHODS FOR COMMUNICATION, TERMINAL DEVICE, NETWORK DEVICE, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIA
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for sidelink communications. In a method for communications, a first terminal device receives information about an identity related to a relay feature of at least one second terminal device via a sidelink channel. The first terminal device determines a relay terminal device of the first terminal device based on the information about the identity. Embodiments of the present disclosure provides a more flexible and feasible communication mechanism for relay discovery and selection without requirements for a specific resource pool for sidelink discovery or performing cyclic redundancy check on resources of the sidelink channel. The identity dedicated to the relay feature can not only be used to distinguish different terminal devices but also enable the terminal device to determine whether they are to be discovered as a candidate relay terminal device by the remote terminal device, and thereby enhancing the relay discovery and selection procedure.
Discovery signals and procedures
According to some embodiments, a wireless device receives (1020) a discovery burst from a network node (115). The same discovery burst includes multiple signals within at least one subframe, each of the multiple signals having one or more associated measurement functions. At least one of the multiple signals is received with multiple repetitions within the same discovery burst and two or more repetitions of the same type of signal can be combined by the wireless device. The wireless device performs (1024) at least one radio measurement based at least in part on a particular one of the signals of the discovery burst. The performed at least one radio measurement corresponds to a measurement function associated with the particular signal of the discovery burst.
Peer-to-peer relaying of discovery information
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for wireless communication, and more specifically to advertising discovery information, relaying discovery information, and to the secure relay of discovery information in wireless networks. Various frame structures are provided for such transmitting and relaying of discovery information. According to certain aspects of the present disclosure, security is provided for relaying discovery information. According to certain aspects of the present disclosure, compensation may be provided to a device that relays discovery information (e.g., when the relaying results in a transaction).
SIDELINK SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL BLOCK (S-SSB) TRANSMISSIONS IN A SHARED SPECTRUM
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE may identify a configuration of sidelink synchronization signal block instances including a first quantity of sidelink synchronization signal block instances for each of a plurality of sidelink synchronization signal block periods. The UE may transmit a second quantity of sidelink synchronization signal block instances over a first sidelink synchronization signal block period. In some aspects, the UE may transmit a sidelink synchronization signal block burst using beams in a sidelink synchronization signal block period. The UE may identify a configuration for a set of resources of a sidelink beam selection resource pool based on transmitting the sidelink synchronization signal block burst. The UE may receive, from another UE over the set of resources, a control message including an indication of preferred beams. The UE may transmit the sidelink data to the other UE using the preferred beams.
APPARATUS, METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
The disclosure relates to an apparatus comprising: means for determining (600) that a condition indicating that at least one first user equipment needs a sidelink communication with a second user equipment is met; and means for determining (602) to use a first discovery model including broadcasting a discovery announcement to the at least one first user equipment.
Information Sending Method, Information Receiving Method, Apparatus, and Terminal
An information sending method includes sending first information to a second terminal, where the first information is used to indicate support information and/or preferential information of a first terminal for communication, the communication includes at least one of first communication or second communication, and the first communication or the second communication is sidelink communication.
Management of deployed drones
Deployed drones are managed. For instance, a first drone detects whether the first drone is in communication with a command center via a first communication network to determine a configuration parameter of a first message to broadcast discovery information associated with the first drone. In response to the first drone being in communication with the command center via the first communication network, the first drone broadcasts the first message configured with a first value for the configuration parameter. Or, in response to the first drone not being in communication with the command center via the first communication network, the first drone broadcasts the first message configured with a second value for the configuration parameter different from the first value.
