A messaging method includes causing a mobile device to be registered in a database by storing identification information associated with the mobile device in the database and storing network connectivity information indicative of whether the mobile device is connected to a wireless network in the database. The method also includes facilitating a message to be communicated to the mobile device from a messaging device remote from the mobile device by causing the identification information and the network connectivity information to be communicated to the messaging device.

A method, computer readable media, and system are described for providing updating policy capabilities between Near-Real Time (RT) Radio Access Network (RAN) Intelligent Controller (MC) and Non-Real Time RIC. In one embodiment a method includes sending a policy update notification message from a near-RT RIC to a non-RT MC with a list of policy types that are supported whenever the node identifies that there is a change in currently exchanged policy types; and updating policy to reflect the update notification.

A method for resolution of inter-network domain names between telecommunications networks includes storing, at a security edge protection proxy (SEPP) of a home network, a mapping between a domain name and a network address of a producer network function of the home network. The method includes receiving, at the SEPP of the home network, a request message from a consumer network function of a visitor network. The method includes resolving, at the SEPP of the home network, a request message domain name of the request message using the mapping between the domain name and the network address of the producer network function of the home network.

Steering clients between access points (APs) or other sources of wireless signaling is contemplated. The client steering may be used to supplant or augment roaming capabilities of the clients with independent steering decisions made at the APs such as by utilizing information shared between the APs to generate a steering threshold for use in assessing whether clients should be steered from one AP to another.
