Method and apparatus for managing packet data network connection on basis of local area in wireless communication system
A method and an apparatus for providing, setting, maintaining, and releasing a packet data network (PDN) connection on the basis of a local area in a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes receiving the PDN subscription information on the basis of the local area from a business operator server, inspecting whether the current location information for the terminal exists in the PDN subscription information on the basis of the local area, and starting a procedure for setting the PDN on the basis of the local area when the current location information exists therein.
TRANSMITTING DIGITAL TRANSPORTATION REQUESTS ACROSS MODES TO LIMITED-ELIGIBILITY PROVIDER DEVICES TO IMPROVE NETWORK COVERAGE AND SYSTEM EFFICIENCY
This disclosure describes a request distribution system that can intelligently distribute transportation requests to provider devices to improve transportation system network coverage and efficiency. For example, the disclosed systems can identify a transportation request corresponding to a first transportation mode and analyze multiple limited-eligibility provider devices having various modes as potential recipients for the transportation request. In some embodiments, the disclosed systems can further determine an expected change in network coverage time associated with providing the transportation request to a first provider device corresponding to the first transportation mode versus a second provider device corresponding to a second transportation mode. The disclosed systems can provide the transportation request to the second provider device corresponding to the second transportation mode according to the expected change in network coverage time and/or other transportation request metrics.

HTTP/3 AND QUIC-BASED DEVICE AND APPLICATION CHARACTERIZATION
A system may include a first network device. The first network device may include a first processor configured to: obtain a copy of a first message sent from an application on a User Equipment device (UE); construct a signature based on the copy of the first message; and send a second message including the signature to a second network device. The second message may request the second network device to either train a classification model or to provide a device type of the UE or an application type of the application to the first network device.
Data transmission method and device, and computer storage medium
A method for data transmission includes that: a first network device receives a registration request message or a registration updating request message from a user equipment (UE); the first network device acquires UE context information and UE data from a second network device based on the registration request message or the registration updating request message; and the first network device sends a registration response message to the UE. A device for data transmission is also provided.

Method and apparatus for selecting an access and mobility management function in a mobile communication system
The present disclosure relates to a communication technique of fusing a 5G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rate beyond a 4G system with an IoT technology and a system thereof, and provides an intelligent service based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT related technology. A method performed by an access network entity in a wireless communication system includes receiving, from a terminal in the wireless communication system, a first message including first information for identifying an AMF, the first information including an AMF set identifier and an AMF identifier; selecting an AMF set based on the AMF set identifier; selecting an AMF from the selected AMF set; and transmitting, to the terminal, a second message as a response to the first message. The AMF set includes a plurality of AMFs based on network slices the AMFs each support, and the AMF set identifier is an identifier of the AMF set, and the AMF identifier is an identifier of an AMF within the AMF set.
Terminal performing registration in non-3GPP access and method performed by same
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method performed by a terminal that performs registration in a non-3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) access. According to the method, the terminal may receive a rejection message including a value of a back-off timer. In addition, the terminal may determine a value of a non-3GPP de-registration timer on the basis of the value of the back-off timer. In this case, the value of the non-3GPP de-registration timer may be determined to be greater than the value of the back-off timer.

Mobility-aware access control
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for mobility-aware access control. A method that may be performed by a first wireless device generally includes receiving one or more signals from a second wireless device in the network, wherein the one or more signals provide an indication of a mobility state corresponding to the second wireless device; determining whether to establish a connection with the second wireless device based, at least in part, on the indication of the mobility state corresponding to the second wireless device; and taking one or more actions based on the determination. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.
