APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING UE LOCATION INFORMATION
A method, related to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate is provided, the method verifies, is provided for verifying location information of a user equipment (UE) in a network that includes the UE and one or more network entities. The method includes receiving, by a first network entity, first information indicating a location of the UE as determined by the UE; receiving, by the first network entity, second information for verifying the first information; and verifying the first information based on the second information. The second information includes at least one of CN assistance information; and information determined based on network analytics. Additionally or alternatively, the second information may include additional information provided by the UE.

COMMUNICATION METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM
A communication method, apparatus and system are provided. The method includes: A first network element receives, from an application function network element, a first request for requesting to obtain information about a first policy control network element, where the first policy control network element is a policy control network element that provides mobility management.
The first network element sends the information about the first policy control network element to the application function network element. Based on this solution, the application function network element obtains the information about the first policy control network element from the first network element, and the application function network element may further send input information to the first policy control network element, so that the first policy control network element can select, based on the input information, an AM policy that matches a requirement of a currently running application.

TERMINATING ACCESS DOMAIN SELECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Example terminating access domain selection methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes obtaining first information by a first node, where the first information is determined by one or more session management network nodes (SMNs) for selecting a terminating access domain of a terminal device. The first node determines, based on the first information determined by each of the one or more SMNs, second information for selecting the terminating access domain of the terminal device.

METHODS, USER EQUIPMENT, AND NETWORK ENTITY FOR HANDLING RESOURCE IN WIRELESS NETWORK
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to methods for handling a resource in a wireless network by a UE 100. The method includes receiving a reject cause message from a network entity. The UE does not support a redirected radio access technology (RAT) indicated in the reject cause message. Further, the method includes considering the reject cause message to represent an abnormal case and performing at least one action based on the abnormal case. The method can be used for enabling enhanced NAS procedure in CIoT devices. The method can also be used to indicate the change in support of CP/UP preference when both CP and UP CIoT optimization are supported, so as to reduce the signalling overhead in the wireless network, improve the UE behavior and NAS procedural efficiencies.

Correlating devices and clients across addresses
Correlating devices and clients across addresses may be provided. A first address associated with a client device may be received. When the client device is not connected to a network, first location data associated with the first address may be obtained using a passive technique. A second address and second location data associated with the second address may then be obtained using an active technique. It may then be determined that the first location data and the second location data correlate. In response to determining that the first location data and the second location data correlate, it may be determined that the client device has changed from the first address to the second address.
