Dynamically assigning storage locations for messaging system data
Method of dynamically assigning storage locations starts with the processor updating first user's home location data. Processor selects communication session between first user and second user and determines second user's home location data. Processor determines a session location data that indicates current storage location that stores data of communication session received from first and second client devices. Processor identifies available data storage locations based on first user and second user's home location data and determines whether to update the session location data based on an average of a distance over network fiber using the first user and second user's home locations, current storage location, and available storage locations. In response to determining to update the session location data, processor updates session location data to indicate one of the available storage locations, and causes transfer of data of communication session to one of the available storage locations. Other embodiments are described.
MOBILITY MANAGEMENT METHOD, SERVING GPRS SUPPORT NODE OR MOBILITY MANAGEMENT ENTITY, AND TERMINAL
The present invention discloses a mobility management method, a serving GPRS support node or mobility management entity (SGSN/MME), and a terminal to solve the problem of setting or dynamically modifying the mobility management frequency of a particular terminal among numerous terminals. The technical solution of the present invention includes: obtaining subscription data of a terminal, where the subscription data carries periodic update (RAU/TAU) setting information; obtaining a periodic update timer of the terminal according to the periodic update setting information; sending the periodic update timer of the terminal to the terminal; and setting a value that is a little longer than the periodic update timer of the terminal as a mobile reachable timer for monitoring the periodic update of the terminal. The embodiments of the present invention may be applied in low-mobility machine-type communication.

METHOD FOR ACCESSING A ROAMING DEVICE AND CORRESPONDING PROXY NETWORK
A roaming device sends, through a visited network and a proxy network, to a home network, an identifier for a first subscription. The home network sends, through the proxy network, to the visited network, data relating to the first subscription. The proxy network sends to the home network a first temporary address. The visited network sends to the proxy network a second temporary address. The device activates a second subscription. The device sends, through the visited network and the proxy network, to the roaming provider network, an identifier for the second subscription. The roaming provider network sends, through the proxy network, to the visited network, data relating to the second subscription. The proxy network registers the first subscription identifier, the second subscription identifier, the first temporary address and the second temporary address. The proxy network sends to the roaming provider network the first temporary address.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A narrow-bandwidth terminal device performs radio communication at a bandwidth narrower than a system bandwidth. The narrow-bandwidth terminal device in an idle state camps on a cell, and performs discontinuous reception of a signal transmitted from the cell. The terminal device also determines a reception condition of the signal, for example, whether the signal can be received. When it is determined that the signal cannot be received, the narrow-bandwidth terminal device moves out of a coverage area of the cell while continuing to perform the discontinuous reception. When it is determined that a discontinuous reception timer has been completed, the narrow-bandwidth terminal device continues to perform the discontinuous reception.

REALM TRANSLATION IN AN IMS NETWORK
Various embodiments of the present technology allow multi-realm support at US-CSCF to IMS by the same I/S-CSCF nodes. Some embodiments allow for a registration message to be received from an IMS client. The registration message can be used to establish, through an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) core network, a service between a first endpoint associated with a first realm and a second endpoint associated with a second, different realm. The registration message can be translated so that the second endpoint believes the first endpoint is associated with the second realm before being transmitted to the second endpoint. Upon receiving a successful IMS registration message from the IMS core network, a binding can be created between the first endpoint and the second endpoint.

INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An information processing method is provided for a mobile terminal. The method includes obtaining a first identity identifier assigned to a terminal by a network side; in response to loading the first identity identifier and, from a plurality of identity identifiers of the terminal, determining a second identity identifier as an identity identifier of the terminal in a first operation state; obtaining, based on the second identity identifier, information used for registering and connecting with a second communication network; establishing a data connection between the first identity identifier and the first communication network; and on the data connection established between the first identity identifier and the first communication network, registering with the second communication network using the information for registering and connecting with the second communication network.
