APPLYING RULES TO A DEVICE FROM A SERVICE DETECTED BY THE DEVICE
Examples disclosed herein allow rules to he applied to a device from a service detected by the device. In one example, upon entering a service area, a device detects a service associated with the service area, wherein the service comprises rules to enable or disable parameters on devices, and the device then extracts a set of the rules from the service. As an example, the extracted set of rules corresponds to a group the device is associated with. The device determines whether conditions set for the extracted set of rules are met by the device and, if the conditions are met, the device applies the extracted set of rules to the device until the device exits the service area.

INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An information processing method is provided for a mobile terminal. The method includes obtaining a first identity identifier assigned to a terminal by a network side; in response to loading the first identity identifier and, from a plurality of identity identifiers of the terminal, determining a second identity identifier as an identity identifier of the terminal in a first operation state; obtaining, based on the second identity identifier, information used for registering and connecting with a second communication network; establishing a data connection between the first identity identifier and the first communication network; and on the data connection established between the first identity identifier and the first communication network, registering with the second communication network using the information for registering and connecting with the second communication network.
DIGITAL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING ADDITIONAL SERVICE BY USING THE SAME
A digital processing device capable of receiving an additional service is disclosed. In one aspect, a digital processing device includes i) an input unit, inputting a signal, ii) a subscriber identity unit, storing an identity code of a communication operator and generating a communication network access request message, iii) an additional service identity unit, storing an identity code of an additional service operator and generating an additional service request message and v) a control unit, generating a control signal allowing one of the subscriber identity unit and the additional service identity unit to be selectively driven. In accordance with at least one inventive embodiment, a user of the digital processing device can receive an additional service without his or her subscription to a specific communication operator and use various additional services in addition to the additional services provided by the subscribed communication operator.

APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING LOCATION INFORMATION
The disclosed apparatus, systems, and methods relate to a location query mechanism that can efficiently determine whether a target entity is located within a region of interest (ROI). At a high level, the location query mechanism can be configured to represent a ROI using one or more polygons. The location query mechanism can, in turn, divide (e.g., tessellate) the one or more polygons into sub-polygons. Subsequently, the location query mechanism can use the sub-polygons to build an index system that can efficiently determine whether a particular location is within any of the sub-polygons. Therefore, when a computing device queries whether a particular location is within the region of interest, the location query mechanism can use the index system to determine whether the particular location is within any of the sub-polygons.
METHOD FOR SIGNING UP A USER TO A SERVICE FOR CONTROLLING AT LEAST ONE VEHICLE FUNCTIONALITY BY MEANS OF A USER TERMINAL
A method for signing up a user to a service for controlling at least one functionality in a vehicle (10) by means of a user terminal (20) comprises the following steps: —communicating a user identifier and an identifier associated with the vehicle (10) to a server (50); —having the server (50) authenticate an electronics unit (11) of the vehicle (10); —in the event of successful authentication, registering the user identifier and the identifier associated with the vehicle (10) in association with one another in the server (50).
Service prioritization using citizens broadband radio service based on embedded subscriber identity modules
A Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) system can receive, from a mobile device, a request to establish a communicative connection, and in response to receiving the request, cause an embedded subscriber identity module (eSIM) of the device to be provisioned with a priority level of wireless service. The system can change the priority level of the eSIM based, at least in part, on assessment of the device's activity in accordance with one or more prioritization criteria, and cause establishment or adjustment of the communicative connection of the device in accordance with the priority level.
System and method for remotely assessing, analyzing, evaluating, and ranking mobile network operator and country compatibility against mobile device spectrum and technology capabilities
A compatibility system for determining a technical compatibility of one or more electronic devices and one or more mobile network operators is disclosed. The compatibility system obtains data from a plurality of data sources and integrate the data to generate a platform that determines ability of at least one of: the electronic devices and the mobile network operators for a communication between each other. The compatibility system determines device attributes and network attributes by integrating the compatibility system with data related to electronic devices and mobile network operators respectively. The compatibility system evaluates radio bands supported by the electronic devices and mobile network operators and identifies potential carriers of the mobile network operators, and a plurality of known potential countries globally, which are compatible with the radio bands of the one or more electronic devices in order to determine the compatibility of the electronic devices and the mobile network operators.
