Single Node Home Deployment with Local Breakout
In selected embodiments, on-premises equipment of a cellular network provides local breakout functionality so that user plane data packets (PDNs/PDUs) are routed between the home/enterprise network and the Internet directly, bypassing a cloud-based core of the cellular network. The UE's control traffic is still routed to/from the core. The core may be an Evolved Packet Core (EPC) in a 4G LTE network, or a 5G Core (5GC) in a 5G network. The UE's IP addresses may be assigned by the core, or locally, by the on-premises equipment. Providing the IP context from the on-premises network allows the UE to connect to local devices, e.g., printers, disc raids, gaming and streaming nodes, and other local devices. The local IP context also pushes the complexity of the EPC core deployment to the cloud while reducing the overhead of cloud processing that comes with user plane data processing.
Dual-stack network addressing in cloud provider network edge locations
Techniques for utilizing dual-stack network addressing for compute instances hosted in an edge location of a cloud provider network along with communications service provider (CSP) network addresses are described. A first network address is assigned to the compute instance from a pool of network addresses of the cloud provider network, and a second network address is associated with the compute instance that is provided by the CSP network. A gateway of the edge location is updated to direct packets addressed to the second network address to the compute instance via use of the first network address.

CALL FLOW SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USE IN A LEGACY TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method of operating a network server, such as a mobile application gateway, connect devices on a cellular or carrier network with individual networks, such as enterprise voice and data networks or residential networks. The effects of the present invention are far reaching in terms of transferring effective call control from the cellular network into the control of the individual network, such as the enterprise, and enabling new business models for the purchase of cellular service from a public cellular carrier by an enterprise.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
In a communication system, an image forming apparatus sends an address of a receiving section to an external device. The external device receives a selection of image data through plural thumbnails displayed on a display section, and wirelessly sends the selected image data to the image forming apparatus with the address. The image forming apparatus receives the selected image data sent with the address by the external device, and prints an image based on the selected image data. The image forming apparatus accepts a selection indicating whether a communication between the external device and the image forming apparatus is performed by a first communication system method or a second communication system method. The image forming apparatus performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the first communication system method when the first communication system method is selected, and performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the second communication system method when the second communication system method is selected.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ACCESSING WIRELESS NETWORK
A method of using subscriber identification information stored in mobile user equipment (UE) to connect to a communication service over a public wireless network in the UE, establishing a communication link between the UE and a device, generating network access information (NAI) associated with the communication service in the UE, and sending the NAI from the UE to the device via the communication link. The method further comprises connecting the communication service in the device using the NAI and terminating the connection of the communication service in the UE.
NETWORK ACCESS METHOD AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL
A network access method includes logging in to a shared server via a shared account, if a mobile communication terminal detects that a network identification of a public land mobile network (PLMN) of a visited place does not exist in a local memory; searching the shared network information in the shared server online via a network and acquiring the network identification of the PLMN of the visited place from the shared network information, after the shared server is logged in to; adding the network identification of the PLMN of the visited place to an EPLMN list by the mobile communication terminal; and accessing a network according to the EPLMN list.
EXTENDING PHYSICAL DOWNLINK CONTROL CHANNELS
Disclosed is a method for monitoring downlink control information in a communication system, including receiving information for an orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) symbol and information for frequency resources through higher layer signaling, and monitoring the downlink control information on a control region defined based on the information for the OFDM symbol and the information for the frequency resources, wherein the control region includes a user equipment (UE)-dedicated search space and a UE-common search space.
