In one embodiment, a service receives a device registration request sent by an endpoint device, wherein the endpoint device executes an onboarding agent that causes the endpoint device to send the device registration request via a cellular connection to a private access point name (APN) associated with the service. The service verifies that a network address of the endpoint device from which the device registration request was sent is associated with an integrated circuit card identifier (ICCID) or international mobile equipment identity (IMEI) indicated by the device registration request. The service identifies a tenant identifier associated with the ICCID or IMEI. The service sends, based on the tenant identifier, a device registration response to the endpoint device via the private APN.

The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for allowing a user equipment (UE) to manage a session in a wireless communication system. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the UE may transmit a first uplink (UL) non-access stratum (NAS) transport message including a packet data unit (PDU) session establishment request to an access and mobility management function (AMF), receive a downlink (DL) NAS transport message from the AMF, and transmit a second UL NAS transport message including the PDU session establishment request based on a timer.

A communication device includes: a control unit configured to control a process of transmitting a first ranging signal, receiving a second ranging signal transmitted as a response to the first ranging signal from another communication device receiving the first ranging signal, and transmitting a data signal including regulation information regarding a transmission time of the first ranging signal and a reception time of the second ranging signal, wherein the data signal is transmitted and received in conformity with a first wireless communication standard, and wherein the first and second ranging signals are transmitted and received in conformity with a second wireless communication standard more appropriate for ranging than the first wireless communication standard.

The server includes a library in which, for each relay apparatus, an area where the relay apparatus is present is registered in association with relay apparatus identification information. The portable information device obtains connection authentication from the relay apparatus installed in an area where the own device is present, and when the authentication is successful, the relay apparatus that provides the authentication transmits the relay apparatus identification information to the server.

An information processing system comprising a portable information device, a relay apparatus that connects the portable information device to a network, and a server. The server includes a library in which, for each relay apparatus, an area where the relay apparatus is present is registered in association with relay apparatus identification information. The portable information device obtains connection authentication from the relay apparatus installed in an area where the own device is present, and when the authentication is successful, the relay apparatus that provides the authentication transmits the relay apparatus identification information to the server.

A network connection method, implemented using a first mobile terminal, includes: establishing a first wireless connection to a second mobile terminal; receiving subscriber identity information of a subscriber identity module SIM from the second mobile terminal via the first wireless connection; and establishing a second wireless connection to a network equipment using the subscriber identity information and the first wireless connection, the subscriber identity module SIM is provided in the second mobile terminal for sharing among devices.

A method for controlling includes activating a virtual subscriber identity module (SIM) card in a terminal such as a mobile phone in response to determining that the terminal is in a lost state; receiving a control instruction through the virtual SIM card; and controlling the terminal based on the control instruction. The method comprises forking a user plane process on a computer by a virtual network function process that executes on the computer, forking a control plane process on the computer by the virtual network function process, adding blocks to a user plane blockchain by the user plane process that record user plane events, adding blocks to a control plane blockchain by the control plane process that record control plane events, creating a first package of information by the user plane process based on the user plane blockchain, self-terminating by the user plane process while passing the first package of information to the virtual network function process, creating a second package of information by the control plane process based on the control plane blockchain, self-terminating by the control plane process while passing the second package of information to the virtual network function process.
