20230007491 · 2023-01-05 ·

A system is disclosed for managing a communication network subscription identifier associated with a device. The system comprises a Core Network node configured to provide a subscription identifier for the device to a Device Management node with management responsibility for the device. The system further comprises a Verification node configured to receive from the Device Management node the subscription identifier and a characteristic of the device, and to bind the subscription identifier to the characteristic such that the subscription identifier is uniquely associated with the characteristic. The system further comprises a Network Access node configured to obtain the subscription identifier from the device. The Verification node, Network Access node and Core Network node are configured to cooperate to verify that the device from which the Network Access node obtained the subscription identifier is in possession of the characteristic that is bound to the subscription identifier.

WIRELESS ACCESS CREDENTIAL SYSTEM

An access control system and methods according to at least one embodiment leverage wireless access credentials to allow a user to securely gain access to a secured area using his or her mobile device. As such, a credentialed mobile device may permit access to the secured area without requiring a real-time connection to a credential management system and/or an administrative system.

Methods for authenticating and integrating user equipment into an information system, corresponding devices and computer programs

Methods for authenticating and integrating user equipment into an information system, corresponding devices and computer programs. Integration of new user equipment into an operator's information system uses communication protocols providing the authentication of the user equipment and guaranteeing integrity and confidentiality of messages exchanged between the user equipment and a user equipment management server of the information system. The user equipment is provided, at the time of manufacture, with an authentication certificate supplied to the manufacturer by the operator managing the information system in which the equipment is to be integrated. This requires cumbersome and inflexible logistics to implement and limits the choice of users as to which user equipment they might wish to integrate. The proposed solution relies on an ecosystem of already authenticated user equipment present in the local network in order to authenticate the user equipment and thus authorize its integration into the information system.

Method, Computer-Readable Medium, System and Vehicle Comprising the System for Providing Accident Parameters to a Person Outside a Vehicle Following an Accident Involving the Vehicle
20230001871 · 2023-01-05 ·

A method for providing accident parameters to a person outside a vehicle after an accident includes ascertaining a first accident parameter that is representative of the severity and/or a consequence severity using a control unit of the vehicle, and determining a display device of the vehicle that can display the first accident parameter following the accident. The first accident parameter is provided on the determined display, and a second accident parameter that is representative of the severity and/or the accident consequence severity is ascertained. The method also includes receiving a release signal for the second accident parameter from the person outside the vehicle following the accident involving the vehicle, and verifying the release signal for the second accident parameter using the control unit of the vehicle. The second accident parameter is provided on the determined display if the release signal was successfully verified by the control unit of the vehicle.

APPLICATION MANAGEMENT OF NETWORK SLICES WITH LEDGERS

The technologies described herein are generally directed to facilitating the allocation, scheduling, and management of network slice resources. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a processor and a memory that can store executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations. The operations can include receiving proposed contract data representative of a proposed contract for access by an application of a user equipment device to resources of a network slice usable for the access by the application. The operations can further include, based on the proposed contract data, storing governing contract data representative of a governing contract in a storage device, with the governing contract being selected to control the access by the application to the resources of the network slice. The operations can further include scheduling use of the resources of the network slice by the application based on the governing contract data.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LOCKING A CHARGING PORT TO CHARGE AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE
