Pilot mapping method, pilot signal transmission method and apparatus, base station and terminal

The present disclosure provides a pilot mapping method, a pilot signal transmission method and apparatus, a base station and a terminal. In each PRB of one PRB group, the positions at which a pilot of each antenna port is mapped to resource elements (RE) in the PRB is determined according to an antenna port index and an index of the PRB in the PRB group or the whole system bandwidth, so that support is provided for implementation of power borrowing, so as to make full use of transmit power of a base station end, improve the coverage range of the pilot signal and channel estimation quality of a reception end.

COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND COMMUNICATION METHOD
20210227459 · 2021-07-22 ·

A communication apparatus is provided that performs packet transmission at the time of detecting an interference signal. Each STA records a pair of a measurement result of an RSSI of an OBSS and a BSS Color, and reports, to an AP, BSS Colors that correspond to a maximum value and a minimum value of the RSSI. The AP generates a database or a table by using a STA having a minimum or maximum RSSI for each of the OBSS's. When a signal of an OBSS is detected, the AP selects a STA that has the smallest RSSI of the OBSS or does not have the largest RSSI of the OBSS, and performs SR transmission. Alternatively, the AP measures angles of arrival of STAs and OBSS's. When a signal of an OBSS is detected, the AP selects a STA that is most different in the angle of arrival from the OBSS or is not most similar in the angle of arrival to the OBSS, and performs SR transmission.

Managing network slices in a communications network

There is described a method of managing network slices in a communications network. The method comprises a domain manager of a Radio Access Network (RAN) determining a change in cell composition of the RAN, and determining neighbor cells within the RAN affected by the change in cell composition of the RAN. The method also compromises the domain manager determining a set of RAN resource partitions affected by the change in cell composition of the RAN, and adapting the configuration of RAN resource partitions of the set of RAN resource partitions by introducing changes corresponding to the change in cell composition of the RAN.

Method and system for coordinated use of mobile radio frequencies

A method and a system with which a primary user, in particular a mobile radio operator, can make a part of the radio spectrum range which is reserved exclusively for the mobile radio operator available in localized and/or time-restricted fashion to a local end user who requested the restricted usage authorization of the radio spectrum range using registered credentials at the mobile radio operator. By way of the credentials the mobile radio operator can allow the local end user limited usage of that radio spectrum range in fee-bearing fashion and can bill same. The local user can then use the assigned frequency band in accordance with his own needs. In particular the user can wirelessly transmit signals in the assigned frequency range between end devices to which no credentials are allocated and in that situation use a transmission protocol which is not defined for the mobile radio network.

Configuration method and corresponding apparatus

A configuration method and a corresponding apparatus are provided, to provide a mechanism for configuring, for a RAN, a network slice supported by the RAN. The configuration method includes: sending, by a first network management device, network slice configuration information to a second network management device, where the network slice configuration information includes information that indicates a network slice supported by the access network RAN, and the second network management device has a function of configuring the RAN; and receiving, by the first network management device, a message that is returned by the second network management device and that indicates that configuration the RAN is completed.

Performance measurement job control for 5G networks and network slicing
11070997 · 2021-07-20 · ·

Systems and methods of performance management over a life cycle is provided. A measurement job control service producer receives, from an authorized consumer, a request to consume a measurement job control service. The request is analyzed, appropriate action is taken to satisfy the request and a response indicating the request result is generated. A request is to create or terminate a measurement job to collect the performance data for a NF, NSSI, NSI, or network. To create a job, the producer checks if the job can be supported by an existing job, creates the job if no such existing job exists, and otherwise responds that the job can be supported by the existing job. To terminate a job, the producer checks if the job is serving other consumers, terminates the job if other consumers are not being served, and otherwise responds that the job is currently serving other consumers.
