VIRTUAL NETWORK ELEMENT PROVISIONING
A wireless communication network comprises network circuitry which hosts a Virtual Network Function (VNF). A VNF controller instantiates the VNF in the network circuitry and transfers instantiation information for the VNF to provisioning circuitry. The provisioning circuitry receives the instantiation information for the VNF and establishes a provisioning data link to the VNF. The provisioning circuitry transfers network provisioning data to the VNF over the provisioning data link. The VNF controller de-instantiates the VNF in the network circuitry and responsively transfers de-instantiation information for the VNF to the provisioning circuitry. The provisioning circuitry receives the de-instantiation information for the VNF and terminates the provisioning data link to the VNF. The VNF controller may comprise a Network Function Virtualization Management and Orchestration (NFV MANO) computer.

SMARK LINK MANAGEMENT (LINK POOLING)
A method of wireless communications forms a group with multiple UEs within a vicinity of a UE. The method establishes a tunnel between the UE and each of the UEs. The method also aggregates network resources obtained from a network interface of the UE and network resources shared by the UEs via each tunnel. The method provides the aggregated network resources to an application of the UE.

Transmission With Partial Bandwidth Spectrum Reuse In Wireless Communications
A device detects a primary channel busy for an operating bandwidth having a plurality of channel segments comprising the primary channel and at least one non-primary channel. In response to detecting the primary channel busy, the device obtains a transmission opportunity (TXOP) through a first non-primary channel of the at least one non-primary channel. Then, the device performs a transmission at least on the first non-primary channel during the TXOP.

SELECTING A PHYSICAL CELL IDENTIFIER IN A SMALL CELL WITHOUT USING RADIO ENVIRONMENT MONITORING
A small cell for selecting a physical cell identifier (PCI) includes at least one processor configured to determine a provisioned list of PCI values from a management system. The at least one processor is also configured to sort the PCI values in the provisioned list into a sorted list based on at least one predetermined pattern and modulo X values of the PCI values, where X is a predetermined integer. The at least one processor is also configured to determine an index for each sector implemented by the small cell based on a sector ID for the sector. The at least one processor is also configured to select, for each sector implemented by the small cell, a PCI value from the sorted list based on a sector ID of the sector.
AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION OF OPERATIONAL PARAMETERS IN SMALL CELLS WITHOUT USING RADIO ENVIRONMENT MONITORING
A small cell for automatic configuration of an operational parameter includes at least one processor configured to determine a provisioned list of operational parameters. The at least one processor is also configured to sort the provisioned list into a sorted list. The at least one processor is also configured to select the operational parameter from the sorted list based on a BC ID for the small cell, a sector ID for a sector implemented by the small cell, or some combination.
CITIZEN BROADBAND RADIO SERVICE (CBRS) NETWORK PERFORMANCE WHILE TAKING INTO ACCOUNT PRIVACY PREFERENCES
Presented herein are methodologies for managing a citizens broadband radio service (CBRS) network. The methodology includes receiving, at an enterprise controller, measurement information from a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE, wherein the first UE and the second UE operate in a citizens broadband radio service (CBRS) network; selecting, at the enterprise controller, an information aggregation level based on a predetermined level of privacy associated with the first UE and the second UE; aggregating, at the enterprise controller, the measurement information from the first UE and the second UE in accordance with the information aggregation level to obtain aggregated measurement information; and sending, by the enterprise controller, the aggregated measurement information to a Spectrum Access System that controls allocation of resources in the CBRS network for the first UE and the second UE.
TIMING ADVANCE GROUP REPORTING FOR LAYER 1/LAYER 2-CENTRIC INTER-CELL MOBILITY
Aspects of the disclosure relate to Layer 1/Layer 2-centric inter-cell mobility systems and determining timing advance groups (TAGs) within such systems. User equipment (UE) are configured to report one or more grouping of cells to a radio access network (RAN), where the cells for each group have similar propagation delays and/or signal quality. Each reported group can be assigned to a TAG identifier (ID) by the RAN. The RAN may utilize the TAG IDs to time division multiplex uplink and/or downlink transmissions based on the TAG IDs.
