Managing radio-based private networks

Disclosed are various embodiments for managing radio-based private networks. In one embodiment, a cellular network comprises at least one cell that provides a radio-based private network coverage of a site of an organization. The system further comprises at least one computing device in a cloud provider network that implements one or more network functions for an associated core network of the radio-based private network.

Method for arranging base stations in a communication network

The present invention provides a method and a system for arranging base stations in a millimeter wave communication network. The method establishes a stochastic optimization framework for millimeter-wave base station deployment in the urban street geometry and provides a low-complexity user association arrangement which can well balance the workloads among BSs and reduce the outage probability by taking the time-varying nature of user equipments' positions and the susceptibility of millimeter-wave links to blockage effect into account. Compared with the state-of-the-art approaches, the present invention can effectively and efficiently reduce the outage probability in the long term.

System and method for optimized load balancing on 6 GHz radios using out-of-band discovery in a mixed AP deployment

Systems and methods are provided by which all APs in a particular deployment can be used to assist in the out-of-band discovery of 6 GHz radios by client devices. That is, a series of iterative operations can be performed to: (I) determine the state of 6 GHz radios in a zone/deployment area; (II) identify what radios can be considered near-neighbors to non-6 GHz radios for purposes of advertising one or more of the 6 GHz radios; (Ill) rank neighboring 6 GHz radios for a given non-6 GHz radio based on certain radio metrics; and (IV) ultimately determine those 6 GHz radios that can be advertised by the given non-6 GHz radio.

A communication apparatus includes a first notification unit, a second notification unit, a reception unit, and a sharing unit. The first notification unit provides first information containing information unique to the communication apparatus and information on a predetermined channel for use in sharing a communication parameter for wireless communication with a different communication apparatus. The second notification unit provides second information containing the information unique to the communication apparatus but not containing information on the predetermined channel. When the first information is provided, the reception unit waits to receive a predetermined signal containing information corresponding to the information unique to the communication apparatus without shifting to another channel. When the second information is provided, the reception unit waits to receive the predetermined signal using a plurality of channels. When the predetermined signal is provided, the sharing unit shares the communication parameter with the different communication apparatus.
