A method of determining a location at which a movable base station is to be installed is provided. In the method, an information processing device performs first determination processing of determining a base station providing radio communication that does not satisfy a predetermined condition based on information of a radio signal of each base station, second determination processing of determining a number of virtual terminals to be set in a coverage area of the base station providing the radio communication that does not satisfy the predetermined condition based on the information of the radio signal of the base station, and third determination processing of determining the location at which the movable base station is to be installed based on a location of each virtual terminal set in the coverage area of the base station providing the radio communication that does not satisfy the predetermined condition.

Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for intelligent node type selection in a telecommunications network. In one implementation, a customer set is obtained for a communications node in the telecommunications network. The customer set includes an existing customer set and a new customer set. A set of customer events is generated for a node type of the communications node using a simulator. The set of customer events is generated by simulating the customer set over time through a discrete event simulation. An impact of the customer events is modeled for the node type of the communications node. The node type is identified from a plurality of node types for a telecommunications build based on the impact of the customer events for the node type.

An analyzer resource receives density information indicating mobile device usage in each of multiple geographical regions. The analyzer resource further receives resource information indicating locations of physical network resources available to support installation of wireless access points in the geographical regions and the location of any existing wireless access points already installed. The analyzer resource then uses at least the density information and the resource information to produce a respective metric for each of the multiple geographical regions. The respective metric for a corresponding geographical region indicates a desirability of installing a respective wireless access point in the corresponding geographical region. Further disclosed embodiments herein include generating a respective map indicating in which respective geographical regions it is desirable to install a respective wireless access point.
