Load-testing a cloud radio access network
A system for load-testing a cloud radio access network (C-RAN) is provided. The system includes at least one radio point (RP), each being configured to exchange radio frequency (RF) signals with at least one user equipment (UE). The system also includes a baseband controller communicatively coupled to the at least one RP via a front-haul ETHERNET network. The front-haul ETHERNET network includes at least one switch; and a testing device that is time-synchronized to the baseband controller and the at least one RP. The testing device is configured to receive at least one packet from each of the at least one RP. The testing device is also configured to replicate each of at least some of the received packets to produce a respective replicated packet. The testing device is also configured to transmit at least one replicated packet to the baseband controller.

Data transmission method, network device
Disclosed in the present invention are a data transmission method and a network device. The method comprises: sending first information to a second network device, the first information being used to assist the second network device to determine whether to perform early sending of called data targeting a terminal.
Variable random access channel contention resolution window in a non-terrestrial network
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) message associated with a random access channel (RACH) procedure to a non-terrestrial network node. The UE may monitor a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) for a contention resolution message associated with the RACH procedure during a contention resolution window. In some aspects, the UE may start to monitor the PDCCH a variable time period after the PUSCH message is transmitted. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Wide band sensing of transmissions in FDM signals containing multi-width channels
A radio for determining the occupancy of a variable width channel for secondary use, the variable width channel with a bandwidth equal to an integer multiple of the bandwidth of a plurality of narrowband channels in an RF frequency band. The radio decides whether the variable width channel in the RF band is occupied by whether classifying each of the narrowband channels corresponding to the variable width channel and each of a plurality of sub-bands with bandwidths of narrowband channels but center frequencies shifted by one-half of the bandwidth of the narrowband channel and overlap with the bandwidth of the variable width channel as containing signal or noise based on measured energy levels.

Techniques for integrated access and backhaul capability indication
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first node may transmit, to a second node, a first message providing a first indication of integrated access and backhaul (IAB) capability. The first node may receive, from the second node and in response to the first message, a second message providing a second indication of IAB capability. The first node may establish an IAB capable connection with the second node based at least in part on the first message and the second message. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Technique for Analyzing QoE of a Delay Critical Robotic Application
A technique for analyzing Quality of Experience, QoE, of a delay critical robotic application in a cloud robotics system is disclosed, the robotic application involving use of a cloud based service by a robot, the service being provided to the robot from a cloud using a connection over a mobile communication network. A method implementation of the technique comprises triggering (S202) determining whether a QoE measure associated with the robotic application exceeds a threshold to assess whether QoE degradation is present, and, when it is determined that QoE degradation is present, triggering (S204) identifying a root cause for the QoE degradation based on one or more performance indicators observed within the mobile communication network and associated with the connection.
REPORT APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE (API) CAPABILITY CHANGE BASED ON API FILTER
Systems and methods for reporting API capability change according to an API filter are provided. According to one aspect, a method for reporting API capability change according to an API filter comprises receiving a request to be notified of an API capability change related to an identified wireless device, the request identifying a set of one or more APIs to be monitored; receiving a notification that the identified wireless device has changed from a first type of core network to a second type of core network; determining an API capability change from the first type of core network to the second type of core network for the identified set of one or more APIs to be monitored; and reporting the API capability change for the identified set of one or more APIs to be monitored and not reporting the API capability change for APIs not in the identified set.
