CELLULAR TELECOMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
20230239785 · 2023-07-27 ·

This disclosure relates to a method of operating a cellular telecommunications network, the cellular telecommunications network including a first base station for a first mobile network operator, a second base station, and a management node, the management node being configured to determine, based on a tracking area code, whether a base station associated with the tracking area code supports a circuit switched voice service. The method can include determining that at least a part of the first base station should enter energy saving mode; in response to the determination, identifying an energy saving solution that ensures continuity of the first circuit switched voice service; causing reconfiguration of the first base station according to the identified energy saving solution so that: the first circuit switched voice service supported by the first base station enters energy saving mode and, the first base station uses a first tracking area code indicating that the first base station does not support the first circuit switched voice service; and continuing support of the first circuit switched voice service by the second base station, wherein the second base station uses a second tracking area code indicating that the second base station supports the first circuit switched voice service.

USER EQUIPMENT AND NETWORK NODE FOR CONFIGURING MEASUREMENTS OF CELLS AND BEAMS IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Configuration of measurement requirements on cells and beams in NR is made more efficient by, in a user equipment, UE, recieving, information from a network node, which information indicates: a first number K of beams to be measured by the UE, and a second number L of cells in which the UE is required to measure the first number K of beams. The UE then carries out measurements using the received information; and performs at least one operational task based on a result of the measurements.

CHANNEL ACCESS FAILURE INFORMATION ON SHARED SPECTRUM

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for channel access for wireless communications, for example, in unlicensed frequency bands. In some cases, a UE may log information associated with channel access failures on one or more frequency bands in shared spectrum and provide the information to a network entity.

Procedures, methods, architectures, apparatuses, systems, devices, and computer program products may be used to communicate with a wireless network. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to multiplex the transmission of measurement data, as control plane data, between the WTRU and a network entity via a first wireless path and the transmission of measurement data, as user plane data, between the WTRU and the network entity via a second wireless path. Switching to/from the second wireless path may be based on a state of the first wireless path, a state of the network, a state of the WTRU and/or an amount of measurement data to be communicated by the WTRU or which has been communicated by the WTRU.

FULL DUPLEX OPPORTUNITY DISCOVERY AND TRANSMISSION FOR ASYMMETRIC FULL DUPLEX WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORKS (WLANS)

Methods and apparatuses are described herein for full-duplex transmission opportunity discovery and transmission in a wireless 802.11 network. A station (STA) may receive a transmission opportunity (TxOP) setup frame from an access point (AP), the TxOP setup frame including information enabling the STA to transmit a first measurement frame and another STA to transmit a second measurement frame. The STA may transmit the first measurement frame to the other STA, receive the second measurement frame from the other STA, and transmit feedback to the AP based on the received second measurement frame. The STA may receive, based on the feedback, a trigger frame from the AP to communicate during a TxOP and receive, during the TxOP, downlink data from the AP.
