20230224754 · 2023-07-13 ·

A Quality of Service (QoS) control method is applied to a first terminal device. The first terminal device accesses a core network of the first terminal device through relay User Equipment (UE) and a first designated network element, and the first terminal device is in communication connection with the relay UE through a first interface. The QoS control method includes that: the first terminal device receives first information, the first terminal device determines traffic filtering information and QoS parameter information according to received first information, and the first terminal device sends the traffic filtering information and the QoS parameter information to the relay UE.

20230225001 · 2023-07-13 ·

A method and apparatus for data transfer in RRC_INACTIVE state is provided. Method for data transfer in RRC_INACTIVE state includes receiving a RRCRelease, determining a radio bearer configured for second resume procedure based on the first information for second resume procedure, receiving from the base station a system information, initiating second resume procedure, restoring configuration of the radio bearer configured for second resume procedure stored in UE Inactive AS context, re-establishing PDCP entity of the radio bearer configured for second resume procedure, resuming the radio bearer configured for second resume procedure and transmitting to the base station a RRCResumeRequest.

Sidelink groupcast scheduling

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a sidelink scheduling request for groupcast sidelink communications with a set of one or more UEs. The base station may determine one or more UEs of the set of UEs and time-frequency resources for groupcast sidelink communication between the first UE and the one or more UEs. The first UE may receive, from the base station, a groupcast sidelink grant that indicates time-frequency resources for groupcast sidelink communications between the first UE and one or more UEs. The first UE may transmit, via the time-frequency resources indicated by the groupcast sidelink grant, a groupcast sidelink message to the one or more UEs. The one or more UEs may also receive the sidelink grant, and may monitor the time-frequency resources for a groupcast sidelink communication from the first UE.

HETEROGENEOUS HUB CLUSTERING AND APPLICATION POLICY BASED AUTOMATIC NODE SELECTION FOR NETWORK OF CLOUDS
20230224759 · 2023-07-13 ·

Some embodiments provide a method of transmitting data in a logical network with multiple branches and a hub cluster with multiple hubs of a first category of hubs and multiple hubs of a second category of hubs. The method, for each of the multiple branches (1) assigns a first hub of the first category of hubs to the branch (2) assigns a second hub of the second category of hubs to the branch, and (3) provides a set of application based policies to the branch. The application based policies direct the branch to route different types of network traffic of the application through the first hub than through the second hub. Each hub of the first category of hubs, in some embodiments, includes a set of resources equivalent to a set of resources of each other hub of the first category of hubs.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIA FOR NETWORK SLICE SELECTION FUNCTION RECOVERY
20230224804 · 2023-07-13 ·

Methods, systems, and computer readable media for network slice selection function (NSSF) recovery. A method includes creating, at an NSSF, subscriptions for a number of access and mobility management functions (AMFs) and storing availability information for each AMF. The method includes determining, at the NSSF, that the NSSF failed to process at least one service update message from at least one of the AMFs, and in response, sending a notification request message to each of the AMFs, the notification request message requesting each AMF to update availability information for the AMF. The method includes receiving, at the NSSF, updated availability information from each of the AMFs. The method includes distributing, at the NSSF, the updated availability information to each of the AMFs.

Communicating over multiple radio access technologies (RATs)

A user equipment (UE) may transmit, using a first radio access technology (RAT), a service request message including information associated with at least one UE service. Based on the transmitted service request message, a message with information to setup a bearer for a second RAT, wherein the second RAT is a different RAT than the first RAT. The UE may receive multimedia data using the second RAT and simultaneously receive data using the first RAT.

Multi-user wireless communication method and wireless communication terminal using same

Provided is a wireless communication terminal that communicates wirelessly. The terminal includes: a transceiver; and a processor. The processor is configured to receive a trigger frame for triggering that a frame for setting a link with a wireless communication terminal, which is an AP, is transmitted through UpLink Multi User (UL MU) transmission through the transmission/reception unit. The processor transmits the frame for setting the link through UL MU transmission based on the trigger frame.

Apparatus for supporting and influencing QoS levels

The present disclosure provides methods and apparatuses related to mobile network systems. In an implementation, a method comprises configuring, by an application function (AF) of an apparatus in a mobile network system, a policy control function (PCF) to provide a plurality of Quality of Service (QoS) levels for a session related to an application or a service; and requesting, by the AF, the PCF to configure the plurality of QoS levels, wherein a QoS flow is associated with a plurality of QoS profiles for configuring the plurality of QoS levels in response to the QoS flow being established.

Traffic steering in a heterogeneous network

Techniques for traffic steering are disclosed. A first signal characteristic of a first connection between an electronic device and a first wireless communications network is determined. A second signal characteristic of a second connection between the electronic device and a second wireless communications network is also determined. Based on the first signal characteristic and the second signal characteristic, the electronic device is prevented from attempting to establish the second connection until one or more establishment criteria are met.
