Method and apparatus for providing information for vehicle communication services
A method, performed by an access and mobility management function (AMF), of providing information for a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) service is provided. The method includes receiving, from a user equipment (UE), a registration request message including information indicating that the UE is a V2X terminal, selecting, based on the registration request message, a policy control function (PCF) supporting the V2X service, receiving V2X policy information from the selected PCF, and providing the V2X policy information to a base station.
Method and apparatus for releasing sidelink radio bearer in a wireless communication system
A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a first UE (User Equipment) to indicate a network node for releasing SLRB (Sidelink Radio Bearer) or SL-DRB (Sidelink-Data Radio Bearer). In one embodiment, the method includes transmitting a first RRC (Radio Resource Control) message to a network node for requesting sidelink resource, wherein the first RRC message includes a PFI (PC5 QoS Flow Identifier) of a PC5 QoS (Quality of Service) flow in a first list of PC5 QoS flows. The method also includes receiving a second RRC message from the network node, wherein the second RRC message configures a SLRB and maps the PC5 QoS flow to the SLRB. The method further includes transmitting a third RRC message to the network node if the PC5 QoS flow is deactivated or released, wherein the PFI of the PC5 QoS flow is removed from a second list of PC5 QoS flows included in the third RRC message.
Apparatus and method for allocating guard band in wireless communication system
An operating method and an apparatus are provided in which state information is received from at least one of a higher layer and a plurality of terminals. A respective allocation resource is determined for each of the plurality of terminals, based on the state information. A respective guard band is determined to be allocated for each of the plurality of terminals, based on the respective allocation resource. Respective resource blocks (RBs) are determined for each of the plurality of terminals, based on the respective guard band. Information about the determined respective RBs is transmitted to respective terminals of the plurality of terminals.
Techniques for determining upstream nodes in full duplex wireless communications
Aspects described herein relate to determining, by a node, to establish a first backhaul connection with a first upstream node for access link communications with a first downstream node, determining, by the node, to establish a second backhaul connection with a second upstream node for access link communications with a second downstream node, establishing the first backhaul connection with the first upstream node based on a first transmit/receive beam pair, and establishing the second backhaul connection with the second upstream node based on a second transmit/receive beam pair and while the first backhaul connection is established with the first upstream node.
Processing mapped 5G system (5GS) quality of service (QoS) information in evolved packet system (EPS)
Aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatus, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for updating QoS configurations at a user equipment (UE). An example method generally includes receiving, from a network entity, quality of service (QoS) information, a QoS identifier associated with the QoS information, and a bearer context associated with the QoS information in one of a modify bearer context request message, an activate default bearer context request message, or an activate dedicated bearer context request message; and updating a QoS configuration using the QoS information based on whether the UE is already configured with QoS information associated with the QoS identifier for a bearer context different from the bearer context associated with the QoS information received in the modify bearer context request message, activate default bearer context request message, or activate dedicated bearer context request message.
BIT RATE SCHEDULING FOR A USER EQUIPMENT
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for scheduling transmissions to and/or transmissions from user equipment. The user equipment communicates with a network via a first radio processing function (RPF) and a second RPF. The method includes determining a first aggregate bit rate for the UE. The method provides for sending to the first RPF first aggregate bit rate information (ABRI) for the UE. The first ABRI: 1) indicates that the first aggregate bit rate satisfies a bit threshold condition, 2) indicates that the first aggregate bit rate does not satisfy the condition, or 3) identifies the determined first aggregate bit rate for the UE.
RECEPTION AND DECODING OF DATA IN A RADIO NETWORK
There is provided mechanisms for decoding data received from a terminal device. A method is performed by a network node. The method comprises receiving data, from the terminal device, during a set of user conditions prevailing for the terminal device. The set of user conditions comprises a rank indicator value reported by the terminal device and a measurement performed by the network node on at least one reference signal received from the terminal device. The method comprises selecting, by providing the set of user conditions as input to a database, a channel matrix from the database. The database comprises a set of offline trained channel matrices. The method comprises decoding the received data for the terminal device using the selected channel matrix.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ENHANCED STEERING AND TRAFFIC LOAD BALANCING IN WIRELESS MESH NETWORKS
The present invention provides a method and system for managing the connections of multiple stations in a Wi-Fi mesh network, using station steering to optimize the overall throughput of the network.
The stations are proactively steered depending on the link quality, the network topology and wireless medium occupation, as well as the different equipment capabilities, to ultimately provide the best available throughput.
This invention also aims to detect crowded Access Points or frequency bands, and steer stations accordingly towards an efficient load control and traffic management between nodes/Access Points and improved quality of experience.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
A communication method and apparatus. The communication method includes reporting a capability parameter set, in which the capability parameter set represents information on a capability supported by the terminal; and receiving first schedule information sent by a network device, in which the first schedule information includes second schedule information corresponding to a capability parameter subset, and the capability parameter subset includes a capability parameter matching a business requirement of the terminal in the capability parameter set.
Mapping Information for Integrated Access and Backhaul
Mapping Information for Integrated Access and BackhaulEmbodiments described herein relate to methods and apparatus for providing IAB mapping information.
