Especially, the method includes the steps of transmitting at least one first data unit without the poll in the RRC INACTIVE state to a peer RLC entity; based on a number of the at least one first data unit without the poll being equal to or greater than a threshold value, shifting to a RRC CONNECTED state; transmitting a second data unit with the poll in the RRC CONNECTED state to the peer RLC entity; and receiving a status report for the at least one first data unit without the poll and the second data unit with the poll from the peer RLC entity.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING DATA UNIT BY USER EQUIPMENT IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a method of transmitting data units by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. Especially, the method includes the steps of transmitting at least first one data unit in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) CONNECTED state with a sequence number for the RRC CONNECTED state; receiving a RRC INACTIVE transition command with an initial sequence number for data transmission in a RRC INACTIVE state; setting a sequence number for the RRC INACTIVE state as the initial sequence number; and transmitting at least one second data unit in the RRC INACTIVE state with the sequence number for the RRC INACTIVE state, wherein the sequence number for the RRC INACTIVE state is incremented by 1 for every second data unit.
Flow Control Method and Apparatus
A flow control method and an apparatus, the method including receiving, by a first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node, a radio link failure (RLF) notification from a second IAB node, where the first IAB node is a child node of the second IAB node and the second IAB node is a parent node of the first IAB node, and rerouting, by the first IAB node, based on the RLF notification, uplink data that corresponds to N backhaul adaptation protocol (BAP) routing identifiers, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 1.
Policy Determining Method and Apparatus, and System
Embodiments of this application provide a policy determining method and apparatus, and a system, and relate to the field of communication technologies, to formulate a first policy for a subarea more accurately. The solution includes: A first network element sends, to a data analytics network element, a first request for requesting network performance information. The first request includes information about a first area and information about a first time period. The first network element receives first network performance information in a second area from the data analytics network element. The first network element determines a first policy based on the first network performance information. In this solution, a subarea may be used as a granularity, and the first policy may be accurately determined based on first network performance information in the subarea.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING TIME SYNCHRONIZATION PACKET
A method for processing a time synchronization packet is provided. In an embodiment a terminal device receives a time synchronization packet of a first clock source from an external device; receives first indication information from a network device, where the first indication information instructs the terminal device to enter a time synchronization activated state of the first clock source, or the first indication information instructs the terminal device to enter a time synchronization deactivated state of the first clock source; and processes the time synchronization packet of the first clock source based on the first indication information. When a clock source is activated and deactivated, the terminal device processes a time synchronization packet of the clock source in different manners, and signaling indicates whether the clock source is activated or deactivated.
PRELOADING APPLICATION DATA BASED ON NETWORK STATUS PREDICTION AND DATA ACCESS BEHAVIOR PREDICTION
Various embodiments include methods for preloading data onto a wireless device based on predicted network status coverage and predicted user data access behaviors. In an aspect, a server may receive trip information a wireless device, receive network coverage map information representing a different network coverage areas, predict a travel time for the wireless device to reach the network coverage area with reduced signal quality, predict a travel duration of the wireless device within that network coverage area, and transmit a notification to the wireless device to enable preloading appropriate data before entering the network coverage area. Further aspects include wireless devices configure to communicate with the server and preloading appropriate data before entering the network coverage area
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF WIRELESS TRIGGERING BUFFER STATUS REPORTING FOR TRANSMISSION STREAMS
A device may include one or more processors. The one or more processors may be configured to determine a first traffic identifier of a first wireless traffic stream, from a plurality of traffic identifiers. The one or more processors may be configured to generate a first frame including the first traffic identifier. The first frame may be configured to trigger a receiver device to send a response frame that comprises buffer status data corresponding to the first wireless traffic stream. The one or more processors may be configured to wirelessly transmit, via a transmitter, the generated first frame to the receiver device.
USER EQUIPMENT AND METHOD RELATED TO REPORTING MANAGEMENT
A user equipment and a method related to reporting management are provided. In the method, event-triggered information is received for a quality of experience (QoE) measurement configuration. A pause indication is received. To send or pause one or more QoE reports is determined based on the event-triggered information. The QoE report is associated with the QoE measurement configuration.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FLOW CONTROL
The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method performed by a first node in a wireless communication system, including receiving, from a second node, downlink user data through a first radio bearer, the downlink user data including multicast service data; transmitting, to at least one UE, the downlink user data through a second radio bearer; and transmitting, to the second node, a downlink data delivery status including PDCP sequence number information, wherein the PDCP sequence number information includes a higher PDCP sequence number between a highest PDCP sequence number successfully delivered in sequence associated with a first transmission mode and a highest PDCP sequence number transmitted to lower layers associated with a second transmission mode.
Rate matching method and apparatus, and rate de-matching method and apparatus
A rate matching method including: determining a receiving capability of a receive end, where the receiving capability is used to indicate a maximum data processing volume of the receive end in a first transmission time, and/or the receiving capability is used to indicate a maximum data buffer volume of the receive end in a first transmission time; the first transmission time is used to transmit a first transport block to which a first code block belongs; determining N.sub.CB based on the receiving capability, where N.sub.CB represents a code block size used for rate matching; performing rate matching on the first code block based on N.sub.CB. The receive end can adjust, based on a processing capability and/or a buffer capability that are/is of the receive end in a period of time, the code block size used for rate de-matching, to avoid insufficiency in processing capability and/or buffer overflow at the receive end.
