Method for performing a logical channel prioritization (LCP) procedure by a relay UE in wireless communication system and a device therefor
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for performing a LCP procedure by a Relay UE in wireless communication system, the method comprising: performing, by the relay UE, a LCP procedure for generating MAC PDU by considering a priority of a first logical channel of a remote UE and a priority of a second logical channel of the relay UE; and transmitting the MAC PDU to a network, wherein if the priority of the second logical channel is equal to the priority of the first logical channel, data from the second logical channel of the relay UE is prioritized over data from the first logical channel of the remote UE during the LCP procedure.

Dynamically steering data traffic sessions based on traffic type may include: determining that both frequency division duplex (FDD) and time division duplex (TDD) are available for an air interface between a user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS); determining a first traffic type expected over the air interface for a first data traffic session; based on at least the first traffic type, determining that FDD is a preferred duplex scheme for the first data traffic session; instructing the UE to use FDD over the air interface for the first data traffic session; determining a second traffic type expected over the air interface for a second data traffic session; based on at least the second traffic type, determining that TDD is a preferred duplex scheme for the second data traffic session; and instructing the UE to use TDD over the air interface for the second data traffic session.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUPPORTING MULTI-ACCESS EDGE COMPUTING USING APPLICATION-BASED QUALITY OF SERVICE FLOWS
A network device may select a first user plane function for establishing, with a user equipment, a protocol data unit session with a single flow and may receive an application function trigger associated with a first new flow for a first application of the user equipment. The network device may select a second user plane function for the first new flow and may create a first traffic filter for the first new flow. The network device may cause the first traffic filter to be provided to the user equipment so that first application traffic is routed, based on the first traffic filter, to the second user plane function and a first multi-access edge computing device associated with the second user plane function.

Method and apparatus for requesting sidelink radio bearer (SLRB) configuration of unicast transmission in a wireless communication system
A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a first UE (User Equipment) to request SLRB (Sidelink Radio Bearer) configuration for a unicast link with a second UE. In one embodiment, the method includes the first UE receiving a first message from the second UE, wherein the first message includes a first SLRB configuration for the unicast link. The method further includes the first UE transmitting a second message to a network node to request a second SLRB configuration for the unicast link when the first message is received or a successful transmission of a complete message associated with the first message to the second UE is confirmed.
ADAPTIVE UL DURATION SELECTION
A method to adaptively select uplink (UL) duration includes collecting UL transmission statistics for UL transmissions from multiple client stations to an access point (AP). The method includes estimating, based on the UL transmission statistics, an amount of queued UL data at the client stations for a next UL transmission. The method includes determining, based on the estimated amount of queued UL data and the UL transmission statistics, one or more UL durations for the next UL transmission. The method includes sending the client stations scheduling information with the determined one or more UL durations to initiate the next UL transmission from the client stations to the AP.
Discontinuous reception for mode 1 sidelink
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station (BS), an indication of an access link discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration and a sidelink DRX configuration. The access link DRX configuration and the sidelink DRX configuration may synchronize access link DRX operation and sidelink DRX operation of the UE. The UE may perform access link communication with the BS based at least in part on the access link DRX configuration and/or may perform sidelink communication with another UE based at least in part on the sidelink DRX configuration.
