COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
20220360969 · 2022-11-10 ·

The disclosure provides example communication methods and apparatuses. One example method includes that a terminal device receives first transmission capability information of a first universal subscriber identity module (USIM) from a first access network device corresponding to the first USIM, where the first transmission capability information of the first USIM comprises single communication duration of the first USIM and a single communication periodicity of the first USIM, and the terminal device includes the first USIM and a second USIM. The first terminal device sends a first response message to the first access network device based on a transmission capability requirement of the first USIM and a service of the terminal device, where the first response message indicates that use of the first transmission capability information of the first USIM is either accepted or rejected, or the first response message comprises second transmission capability information of the first USIM.

RADIO COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
20220361083 · 2022-11-10 ·

A radio communication apparatus in a wireless mesh network includes reception circuitry, which, in operation, receives a radio signal; and control circuitry, which, in operation, determines a candidate radio device that is not selected as a forwarding destination of the received radio signal, based on destination information of the received radio signal and information on a group to which another candidate radio device capable of communication belongs.

TIME SENSITIVE COMMUNICATION QUALITY OF SERVICE ALTERNATIVES
20220361047 · 2022-11-10 ·

Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products provide for specifying, in quality of service (QoS) requests, alternative QoS-related parameter sets and/or alternative traffic pattern parameter sets. In the context of one method, the method receives a QoS request comprising one or more QoS parameters and/or one or more traffic pattern parameters, and one or more alternative QoS parameter sets and/or one and more alternative traffic pattern parameter sets. The method also selects the one or more QoS parameters or an alternative QoS parameter set of the one or more alternative QoS parameter sets based on a supporting capability of a network. The method also causes transmission of a Policy and Charging Control (PCC) rule based on the selected parameters and transmits an indication of the selected parameters.

RESELECTION OF TRANSMISSION CONFIGURATION

A communication procedure (e.g., a small data transmission (SDT) procedure) may be used for data transmission under certain scenarios. The communication procedure may facilitate transmission of small amounts of data, for example, even if a wireless device is in a non-connected state with respect to a network. Data transmission during the communication procedure may be based on a selected transmission type and the transmission type may be changed during the communication procedure.

USER EQUIPMENT AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD FOR NEURAL NETWORK COMPUTATION
20220361037 · 2022-11-10 ·

A user equipment (UE) includes a processor and a transmitter. The processor performs a neural network computation to generate a plurality of neural network computation results, wherein the neural network computation results are included in a data packet, and the neural network computation results are intermediate data of the neural network computation. The transmitter transmits the data packet to a base station. The data packet includes a descriptor and the descriptor includes parameters and settings corresponding to the neural network computation results.

SEARCH SPACE ALIGNMENT FOR CONTROL CHANNEL MONITORING
20220360420 · 2022-11-10 ·

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for search space alignment for control channel monitoring. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes aligning a first set of monitoring occasions associated with a common search space (CSS) with a second set of monitoring occasions associated with a UE-specific search space (USS). The method further includes monitoring for signals from a network entity via at least one of the CSS or the USS in the aligned first and second set of monitoring occasions. The method also includes communicating with a network entity based on reception of at least one of the signals in the aligned first and second set of monitoring occasions.

COMMUNICATION TECHNIQUES BETWEEN A RADIO UNIT AND A DISTRIBUTED UNIT VIA AN APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE
20220361025 · 2022-11-10 ·

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A remote unit (RU) of a base station may report, to a distributed unit (DU) of the base station, a message indicating that the RU supports an RU processing capability that is one of a first processing capability or a second processing capability. The first processing capability corresponds to additional physical layer signal processing at the RU than does the second processing capability. The RU may receive one or more uplink signals from a user equipment (UE) or accept one or more downlink signals from the DU, or both and process the one or more signals in accordance with the RU processing capability. The RU may forward the processed uplink signals from the RU to the DU via an application programming interface (API) that supports both the first processing capability and the second processing capability (e.g., a generalized API).
