The method is applied to device to device communication, and the method includes: the terminal device determines, according to configuration information, to transmit data on at least one second type carrier according to the transmission parameter corresponding to at least one first type carrier system, and the configuration information indicates a correspondence between the at least one second type carrier and the at least one first type carrier system, the first type carrier is configured to transmit the transmission parameter over downlink, and the second type carrier is configured to transmit data over sidelink.

Decentralized radio resource allocation using a distributed cache

A network system comprises a plurality of access points (APs) and a distributed cache. The distributed cache is formed using memory in the plurality of APs. The plurality of APs are configured to measure telemetry data and store the telemetry data in the distributed cache. One of the plurality of APs is assigned as a controller AP configured to assign, based on the telemetry data stored in the distributed cache, multiple APs of the plurality of APs to different roles to analyze the plurality of APs and update resource configurations of the plurality of APs.

According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an operating method of a first proximity-based services (ProSe) function belonging to a first public land mobile network (PLMN) includes: receiving a first ProSe Communication Create Request message from an application function (AF), a network exposure function (NEF) belonging to the first PLMN, or a first user equipment (UE) subscribed to the first PLMN; determining whether to perform inter-PLMN communication between the first UE and a second UE subscribed to a second PLMN, the second PLMN being different from the first PLMN; transmitting, to a second ProSe function belonging to the second PLMN, a ProSe Provisioning Request message including first radio resource information for direct communication by the first UE; receiving, from the second ProSe function, a ProSe Provisioning Response message including second radio resource information for direct communication by the second UE; and transmitting, to the first UE, the first ProSe Communication Create Request message including inter-PLMN communication information for direct communication with the second UE.

Wireless communication system, control device, access point, and terminal device

A terminal device includes: transmission circuitry that transmits a connection request to a first access point in order to connect, by a wireless link, to one of the first access point or a second access point each having a superframe in an initial state in which a control channel period is longer than a data channel period; and reception circuitry that receives, as a connection response, information indicating the second access point as information on a connection destination access point from the first access point after the connection request is transmitted.

Provided are a method of bandwidth allocation for transmitting mobile data and a network device. The bandwidth allocation method includes receiving a cooperative transport interface (CTI) message including a traffic pattern corresponding to a CTI pattern identification (ID) from a distributed unit (DU) of a mobile network, and allocating a bandwidth for transmitting mobile data based on the traffic pattern included in the CTI message.

NETWORK-AWARE DEPLOYMENT OPTIMIZATION FOR LARGE SCALE VIRTUAL NETWORK FUNCTION DEPLOYMENTS AT A NETWORK EDGE

Systems and methods described herein provide deployment optimization service. A network device in a network receives an order for virtual network function (VNF) deployments at network edge locations. The network device maps a radio access network (RAN) topology for the network edge locations. The network device identifies time windows to perform the VNF deployments, based on the order, historical transport and RAN utilization data, and the RAN topology. The network device selects an optimal time window to perform the VNF deployments based on stored policy rules and pushes software images for the VNF deployments to an image repository in a geographical region near the network edge locations. The network device analyzes, for the optimal time window, real-time network data for a pre-emptive condition. The network device pre-empts the VNF deployments when a pre-emptive condition is identified and initiates the VNF deployments when no pre-emptive condition is identified.

Systems And Methods To Improve Hosted Application Performance

Methods and systems for determining performance of a hosted application are described herein. Determining the performance of a hosted application may require the calculation of scores corresponding to metrics about user experience, including a user workload context, a user action, a frame rate, a round trip latency time, and image quality. The scores associated with the metrics about user experience may be weighted against each other, in accordance with an equation, described herein, to calculate a value corresponding to the performance of a hosted application. Data may be generated and shared with both a virtual computing environment and an administrator of the virtual computing environment. The data may include instructions to optimize user experience within the virtual computing environment. The instructions may be executed by the virtual computing environment to prepare the virtual computing environment for further user interaction.
