NETWORK INFORMATION REPORTING METHOD AND APPARATUS, USER EQUIPMENT, SERVICE NODE AND MEDIUM
The present application provides a network information reporting method and apparatus, a user equipment, a service node, and a medium. The network information reporting method includes: detecting, in a case where a user equipment is operating in a first-type network, a cell of a second-type network; and reporting cell network information to a service node of the first-type network, the cell network information including network information corresponding to a detected target cell of the second-type network.
System information performance enhancements
Wireless communications systems and methods related to system information communications and decoding are provided. In one embodiment, a wireless communication device receives one or more known bits. The wireless communication device receives a first encoded information block. The wireless communication device decodes the first encoded information block to generate a first information block based on the one or more known bits. In one embodiment, a wireless communication device receives a first encoded information block including a first bit pattern. The wireless communication device receives a second encoded information block including a second bit pattern. The wireless communication device jointly decodes the first encoded information block and the second encoded information block based on an assumption that a difference between the first bit pattern and the second bit pattern is within a subset of a plurality of bit-change patterns.
CELL RESELECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application provides a cell reselection method and an apparatus. The method includes: measuring a target frequency to obtain at least two cells that meet a first condition; determining remaining coverage time of the at least two cells; and determining a target cell based on the remaining coverage time of the at least two cells. According to this solution, the target cell (that is, a reselected cell) is determined based on the remaining coverage time during reselection.
Handling sidelink scheduling request
A wireless device receives, from a base station, one or more radio resource control messages indicating: a first mode in which the wireless device receives one or more sidelink grants for first sidelink transmissions; and a second mode in which the wireless device selects one or more sidelink resources for second sidelink transmissions. The wireless device triggers a sidelink scheduling request (SR) procedure based on sidelink data becoming available while operating in the first mode. A switch is made to the second mode for the second sidelink transmissions of the sidelink data in response to a failure of the sidelink SR procedure. The sidelink data is transmitted while operating in the second mode.
Mobility enhancements for unlicensed operation
This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for a user equipment (UE) performing Listen Before Talk (LBT) procedures during a handover, such as during a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) handover or a conditional handover. During the handover, the UE may have a source connection with a source cell. If the source cell is unlicensed, the UE may perform LBT for a channel of the source cell. The UE may establish a target connection with a target cell before releasing the source connection with the source cell. If the target cell is unlicensed, the UE may perform LBT for a channel of the target cell.
Mobile-terminated call handling during latency-sensitive services
Various embodiments include methods and user equipment (UE) for mobile-terminated call handling when a latency-sensitive service (LSS) is active on the UE. Embodiments may include determining a radio access technology (RAT) used for a latency-sensitive service (LSS) currently active on the UE in response to receiving an MT call invitation and determining whether a latency-prone service command is received that includes service commands configured to change the determined RAT used for the LSS to another RAT likely to compromise the LSS. In response to determining that a latency-prone service command is received the MT call invitation may be rejected, but in response to determining that a latency-prone service command is not received, MT call alerting may be allowed.
Handover determination between relays
Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication that over come problems associated with conventional approaches including load balancing and handover efficiency issues. For example, in one aspect a wireless communication technique takes into account the load of a relay before a UE is switched from one relay to another. In another example, a wireless communication technique ensures that UEs are handed over to relays that will be able to serve the UE as the mobile relay continues to follow its expected path (such as streets or tracks), which may be known or determined.
COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD AND WIRELESS RELAY APPARATUS
A communication control method executed in a wireless relay apparatus connected to an upper apparatus via a backhaul link includes receiving, from the upper apparatus, a failure notification message indicating that a failure has occurred in the backhaul link of the upper apparatus and that the upper apparatus has failed to recover the backhaul link, and in response to receiving the failure notification message from the upper apparatus, switching the backhaul link of the wireless relay apparatus to another upper apparatus regardless of a radio state of the backhaul link of the wireless relay apparatus.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADAPTING A CONTROL FUNCTION BASED ON A USER PROFILE
The vehicle control system/method for adapting a control function based on a user profile may comprise: a gesture recognition module; a user profile module; a function control module; a processor; a non-transitory storage element coupled to the processor; encoded instructions stored in the non-transitory storage element, wherein the encoded instructions when implemented by the processor, configure the system to: identify a user; retrieve a user profile for the identified user; receive at a gesture recognition module, an input indicating a gesture from the user; identify a control function request corresponding to the gesture input; send a verification of the control function request; and receive at a function control module characteristics parsed from the user profile that effect the control function request by the user profile module to adapt a control function command for an adapted control function output by the function control module.
