System and method for adapting control functions based on a user profile
The vehicle control system/method for adapting a control function based on a user profile may comprise: a gesture recognition module; a user profile module; a function control module; a processor; a non-transitory storage element coupled to the processor; encoded instructions stored in the non-transitory storage element, wherein the encoded instructions when implemented by the processor, configure the system to: identify a user; retrieve a user profile for the identified user; receive at a gesture recognition module, an input indicating a gesture from the user; identify a control function request corresponding to the gesture input; send a verification of the control function request; and receive at a function control module characteristics parsed from the user profile that effect the control function request by the user profile module to adapt a control function command for an adapted control function output by the function control module.
Data transmission control method, apparatus and system
A data transmission control method, apparatus and system are provided. A radio communication node receives a data packet sent by a base station, where the data packet is generated by using a Packet Data Convergence Protocol protocol data unit (PDCP PDU) of the base station. The radio communication node acquires the PDCP PDU, which is used as a Radio Link Control service data unit (RLC SDU), in the data packet. The radio communication node sends data generated by using the RLC SDU to a user equipment, where a user plane connection is established between the radio communication node and the user equipment, and a control plane connection is established between the base station and the user equipment.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ACCESSING A RANDOM ACCESS CHANNEL BY SELECTIVELY USING DEDICATED OR CONTENTION-BASED PREAMBLES
A method and apparatus for accessing a random access channel (RACH) during handover are disclosed. A handover procedure is initiated and a maximum handover interruption timer is activated. A dedicated preamble is transmitted in an attempt to access the RACH on a condition that the dedicated preamble is reserved in a current random access opportunity and the maximum handover interruption timer has not expired. A contention-based preamble is transmitted in an attempt to access the RACH on a condition that a dedicated preamble is not reserved in a current random access opportunity. If the maximum handover interruption timer has expired, a contention-based preamble is transmitted in an attempt to access the RACH.
Carrier Information Transmission to Wireless Devices
Methods, apparatuses, and systems for wireless communications are described. A base station may send a message with configuration parameters to a wireless device, and the configuration parameters may be for at least two different types of carriers used for communications.
Mobile communication network system and method for composing network component configurations
Disclosed is a mobile communication network system and a network configuring method. The communication network system includes: a common control access network; at least one access network slice added according to a service type requested by a device; a common control core network; and at least one core network slice added according to a service type requested by the device. The access network slice and the core network slice are determined by the service type requested by the device.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND DEVICE FOR USER DETACHMENT WHEN A HANDOVER OR CHANGE OCCURS IN HETEROGENEOUS NETWORK
A method for user detachment when a handover or change occurs in a heterogeneous network is provided. The method includes: a user equipment (UE) is handed over or switched from a source network to a target network; a network element on a network side determines whether to detach the UE from the source network, and if yes, the network element on the network side detaches the UE from the source network. A system and a device for user detachment when a handover or change occurs in a heterogeneous network, and another method for user detachment when a handover or change occurs in a heterogeneous network are also provided.
Communication apparatus, communication apparatus control method, and program
A communication apparatus, in a case where a partner apparatus is not in the communicable state in a second mode of a first wireless communication method, specifies a predetermined memory area of the partner apparatus and transmits, to the partner apparatus using a first mode of the first wireless communication method, a communication parameter used for communication between the communication apparatus and the partner apparatus in a second wireless communication method.
Wireless device connection management
A system and method of managing short-range wireless communication connections at a vehicle, the method including: receiving a wireless signal from a personal mobile device at the vehicle, wherein the wireless signal is received using a first short-range wireless communication (SRWC) technology; determining whether to perform a connection handover based on the received wireless signal; when it is determined that the connection handover is to be performed, then carrying out the connection handover that includes establishing an alternative carrier connection between a wireless communications device and the personal mobile device using a second SRWC technology, wherein the wireless communications device is installed in the vehicle; and when it is determined that the connection handover is not to be performed, then setting the wireless communications device to operate in a discovery mode, wherein the discovery mode includes sending an inquiry message indicating availability of a connection to the wireless communications device.
SPECIAL UPLINK SUBFRAME FOR ENHANCED MOBILITY
A user equipment (UE) device is scheduled to transmit an uplink data transmission to its serving base station. The uplink data transmission) includes a special subframe that has a different subframe structure than a subframe structure used by at least one other UE device being served by the serving base station. For example, the special subframe includes a blanked portion of the first symbol of the special subframe and a higher Reference Signal symbol density when compared to the subframe structure used by other UE devices. A target base station receives and decodes the uplink data transmission, utilizing the features of the special subframe to acquire and estimate the uplink channel between the UE device and the target base station. After decoding the uplink data transmission, the UE device is handed over from the serving base station to the target base station.
AUTOMATIC VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC DETECTION AND COMMUNICATION
Methods and systems for vehicle diagnostic detection and communication are disclosed. Specifically, a method to monitor the health of vehicle systems and subsystems and diagnose detected anomalies is provided. In the event an anomaly or unhealthy state is detected within a vehicle, subsystem or component, the system may take a number of actions. In one embodiment, the actions comprise notifying a maintenance provider, a regulatory monitor, and original equipment manufacturer. The system may also maintain a vehicle fleet-wide performance database to enable identification and analysis of systemic fleet-wide data.
