A transmitting direct mode communication apparatus, a receiving direct mode communication apparatus and a communication path switching method thereof are provided. The transmitting direct mode communication apparatus and the receiving direct mode communication apparatus maintain a backend network connection, and communicate with each other via a direct communication connection. The transmitting direct mode communication apparatus and the receiving direct mode communication apparatus are capable of switching the communication to backend network connection rapidly and seamlessly for transmitting data normally after the direct communication connection failed.
EV2X mobility support for mode 3.5/RSU scheduled mode
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method, system, and apparatus may include managing the operation mode of a user equipment in vehicle-to-everything communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may transmit an inactive request message (or a request message) to a base station to indicate the user equipment is switching from a base station scheduling mode (or a radio access network node scheduling mode) to a peer user equipment scheduling mode (or a roadside unit scheduling mode). The user equipment may receive an acknowledgment message from the base station indicating a state change to allow the peer user equipment scheduling mode. In some cases, the user equipment may receive an area identifier from the base station, and the area identifier may indicate an area where the peer user equipment scheduling mode is allowed.
METHOD FOR PERFORMING DEVICE-TO-DEVICE COMMUNICATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
A method for performing, by a first UE, device-to-device (D2D) communication in a wireless communication system includes: transmitting, to a first eNB, transmission/reception (TX/RX) chain number information indicating the number of supported TX/RV radio frequency (RF) chains; receiving, from the first eNB, a first control message including D2D resource pool configuration information of the first eNB; receiving, from the first eNB, a second control message including D2D resource pool configuration information of a second eNB; and transmitting a first D2D signal to the first eNB and/or transmitting a second D2D signal to the second to eNB using one or more TX RF chains when a predetermined condition is satisfied.
REALIZING MOBILE RELAYS FOR DEVICE-TO-DEVICE (D2D) COMMUNICATIONS
Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for a WTRU to act as a mobile relay, the method comprising the WTRU connecting to the network, the WTRU receiving a message from the network indicating that the WTRU is to act as a mobile relay for one or more devices outside of the coverage of the network, the WTRU discovering one or more devices outside of the coverage of the network, and the WTRU receiving a message from the out-of-coverage device that indicates that the out-of-coverage device has selected the WTRU to act as a mobile relay.
MANAGING CONFIGURATIONS
To manage a power coordination configuration when performing a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) procedure, a UE receives (702A), from a radio access network (RAN), a power coordination configuration for application by the UE to constrain uplink power when communicating with a source cell and a target cell of the RAN, initiates (704A) the DAPS procedure in accordance with the power coordination configuration, and in response to detecting a trigger condition, releases (706A) the power coordination configuration.
Methods and Apparatus for Change of Connection Link Involving Sidelink Relays
A method implemented by a user equipment (UE) includes sending, by the UE to a source access node, a message including a relay UE information report comprising information associated with at least one UE detectable by the UE; participating, by the UE with the source access node, in a handover initiation; detaching, by the UE, from the source access node; synchronizing, by the UE with the at least one UE, the at least one UE operating as a relay UE for communication between the UE and a target access node over a sidelink connection; and participating, by the UE with the at least one UE, in a handover completion.
REMOTE UE AND DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD THEREFOR, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A remote user equipment (UE) and a data transmission method therefor, and a storage medium are provided in the disclosure. The data transmission method for the remote UE includes the following. The remote UE receives a radio resource control (RRC) connection reconfiguration message, where the RRC connection reconfiguration message carries a configuration parameter of a relay UE, and transmits the configuration parameter to a corresponding relay UE.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AN ENHANCED FAILURE REPORT MECHANISM FOR MASTER CELL GROUP AND SECONDARY CELL GROUP
Embodiments of the present application relate to a method and an apparatus for an enhanced failure report mechanism for a master cell group (MCG) or a secondary cell group (SCG) under a 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) 5G New Radio (NR) system or the like. According to an embodiment of the present application, a method can include: in response to operating at a radio resource control (RRC) connected state, receiving a RRC reconfiguration message including a reconfiguration with synchronization information element (IE); starting a timer associated with handover, wherein a timer value of the timer associated with handover is included in the reconfiguration with synchronization IE; and performing a random access procedure and synchronising to a target primary cell of a master cell group in response to receiving the RRC reconfiguration message including the reconfiguration with synchronization IE. If DAPS configuration is included in the reconfiguration with synchronization IE, a UE is not allowed to initiate a measurement report. In response to initiating failure information procedure, the UE may stop a timer for initiating failure recovery based on triggering a measurement report.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatuses for wireless communication. According to some embodiments of the disclosure, a method may include: receiving, at a user equipment (UE), configuration information indicating a timer associated with fast master cell group (MCG) link recovery; transmitting an MCG failure information message in response to detecting a radio link failure on an MCG; and starting the timer associated with fast MCG link recovery. The sidelink resource of the first type of configured grant can be used when the timer is running. The UE assistance information and sidelink UE information can be allowed to be transmitted when the timer is running. In addition, sidelink configuration can be included in the RRC reconfiguration message for conditional handover command.
Communication Method and Apparatus
A communication method and apparatus are disclosed. The method includes a first terminal device determines a candidate relay device, where the candidate relay device includes at least one relay device, and sends a first message to a second terminal device, where the first message is used to request to change a relay device, and the first message includes an identifier of the candidate relay device. In the foregoing manner, the first terminal device may determine the candidate relay device, and send the first message to the second terminal device, so that the second terminal device can determine a second relay device from the candidate relay device based on the first message. In this way, a relay device between the first terminal device and the second terminal device can be changed from a first relay device to the second relay device.
