Beam recovery method and apparatus
11368205 · 2022-06-21 · ·

A beam recovery method and apparatus such that the method includes: communicating, by a relay node, with a network device by using a serving beam; after a serving beam failure is detected, further monitoring the serving beam and determining whether the serving beam is recovered; and if the serving beam is recovered, further communicating, by the relay node, with the network device by using the serving beam. According to the beam recovery method, a waste of resources is reduced during beam recovery, and a time for beam recovery is further shortened.

Primary cell switching in non-simultaneous uplink carrier aggregation scenarios

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for operating transceiver circuitry to communicate signals on various frequency ranges based on primary cell and/or secondary cell assignments. A controller associated with the transceiver circuitry may operate a receiver to receive a handover initiation packet using a first frequency range as a primary cell from a base station. The controller may adjust the receiver and a transmitter to use a second frequency range as the primary cell, to adjust the receiver and the transmitter to detach from the first frequency range as the primary cell, and to reset information corresponding to the first frequency range to enable attachment of the first frequency range to a secondary cell.

WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD AND BASE STATION

A wireless communication method for connecting a base station with each of a plurality of terminal stations set to differ in Guard interval length, with the base station being equipped with a plurality of wireless communications units each configured to be connectable with one or more of the terminal stations, includes: a collection step of collecting information about the Guard interval length set for each of the terminal stations and connection information about the terminal stations; a policy calculation step of calculating a setting policy for setting the Guard interval length permitted for each of the wireless communications units and a switching policy for setting a condition for switching that one of the wireless communications units which is to be connected, for each of the terminal stations, based on each of the collected information about the Guard interval length and connection information about the terminal stations; and a setting step of setting those of the terminal stations which are to be connected, for each of the wireless communications units based on the calculated setting policy and switching policy.

Cell grouping for beam management

In accordance with an embodiment, a method may include determining, by a user equipment, a beam management group comprising one or more serving cells. The method may further include detecting, by the user equipment, a beam failure on at least one serving cell of the beam management group. The method may further include transmitting, by the user equipment, a beam failure recovery request to the at least one serving cell of the beam management group.

Method of bandwidth part switching in unpaired spectrum, user equipment and network device

A method of BWP switching in unpaired spectrum, a UE and a network device are provided. The method of BWP switching in unpaired spectrum includes: when first DCI for scheduling a PDSCH is not detected, resetting a timer in accordance with detected second DCI for scheduling a PUSCH; and when a reset timer is expired, switching a current BWP to a default BWP.

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for quality of service (QoS) flow relocation handling are provided. One method includes configuring an alteration rule that alters how packets from a relocated QoS flow are handled on an old bearer when a mapping rule update to a new bearer is provided. The method also includes providing, to at least one user equipment, the mapping rule update to the new bearer.
