CELL SELECTION OR RESELECTION METHOD AND DEVICE
Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a cell selection or reselection method and a device, to resolve a problem that a terminal device cannot effectively and rapidly access a cell without taking a slice of the cell into consideration when performing cell selection or reselection. The method may be performed by a terminal device, and includes: receiving a MIB message from a cell; in a case of determining, based on the MIB message, that the cell can be a candidate access cell, reading a SIB message of the cell, where the SIB message includes slice information of the cell; and selecting one slice from slices of the cell to access based on slice information supported by the terminal device and the slice information of the cell.
System and method for using mobility information in heterogeneous networks
Disclosed herein are systems and methods related to reducing or making more efficient handovers from one cell to another cell in a communications network. The method includes receiving mobility data for a device being serviced by a first cell, classifying the device based on the mobility data to yield a classification and making a handoff decision when handing off the device from the first cell to a second cell based at least in part on the classification. An example of the mobility data is a speed at which the device is moving or time a device is in a cell.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR GROUP HANDOVER IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Disclosed are a method and a device for group handover in a communication system. An operation method of a header terminal comprises the steps of: transmitting a configuration information message including a first indicator indicating a measurement reporting subject to member terminals participating in the sidelink groupcast communication; if the measurement reporting subject indicated by the first indicator is the header terminal, receiving, from the member terminals, measurement reporting messages including results of measurement operations performed for at least one neighboring base station; and transmitting a configuration reporting message including the results of the measurement operations to a serving base station accessed by the header terminal. Therefore, the performance of the communication system can be improved.

METHODS, APPARATUSES AND SYSTEMS DIRECTED TO A CHANGE OF WTRU TO WTRU RELAY
Methods, apparatuses, systems, etc., directed to performing a change of relay are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, a WTRU may transmit a link modification request message to a target WTRU via a first relay WTRU for requesting a change of relay. The WTRU may receive a link modification accept message from the target WTRU via the first relay WTRU, indicating a (e.g., proposed) second relay WTRU (e.g., identifier). The WTRU may transmit a direct communication request message including the second relay WTRU identifier for indicating to the target WTRU acceptance of the proposed second relay WTRU. The WTRU may a receiving a direct communication accept message from the target WTRU via the second relay WTRU, indicating the traffic may be relayed via the second relay WTRU.

TECHNIQUES FOR CELL BAR TIME SELECTION
Methods, systems, and devices for are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to initiate a first setup procedure with a first cell supported by a base station. The UE may determine a system information block (SIB) read failure, a radio link failure, or both, based on initiating the first setup procedure. The UE may determine whether a link quality metric associated with communications between the UE and the first cell satisfies a link quality threshold. The UE may select a cell bar time based on a type of a communications service established via the base station, whether the link quality metric satisfies the link quality threshold, or both. The UE may then initiate a cell reselection procedure based on the cell bar time.
