ANALYSIS OF ANOMALIES USING RANKING ALGORITHM
An anomaly detection and analysis system generates analysis or summary of the anomalies detected from key performance indicators (KPIs). The system receives anomaly data reporting anomalies detected in key performance indicator (KPI) data. The system classifies the reported anomalies into a plurality of anomaly items, wherein anomalies from KPI data that share a set of features are assigned to one anomaly item. The system computes a ranking score for each anomaly item by assigning predefined weights for different anomaly types that are present in the anomaly item. The system sorts a list of anomaly items from the plurality of anomaly items into a sorted list of anomaly items according to the ranking scores computed for the plurality of anomaly items. The system sends the sorted list of anomaly items to a user device for presentation.
Device steering based on profile and historical behavior
During operation, an access point aggregates communication-performance information and behavior information in a wireless local area network (WLAN) corresponding to an electronic device, where the communication-performance information and the behavior information are aggregated over a time interval that is longer than an instance of a connection or association of the electronic device to the WLAN. Then, the access point provides the communication-performance information and the behavior information to a second electronic device. After receiving information about another instance of a connection or association of the electronic device to the WLAN, the access point provides a request to the second electronic device for historical information about communication performance and behavior of the electronic device in the WLAN. Moreover, after receiving the historical information, the access point selectively provides the transition recommendation in the WLAN to the electronic device, where the transition recommendation is based at least in part on the historical information.

Dual connectivity control based on downlink data at a 4G base station
Techniques for dual connectivity control based on downlink data are discussed herein. A Fourth Generation (4G) base station can receive downlink data to be transmitted to a user equipment (UE). The 4G base station can also receive data from the UE indicating that the UE is associated with a low power state. The 4G base station can further determine a capability of the base station (e.g., an available bandwidth) to transmit the downlink data to the UE. If an amount of downlink data is below a threshold, operations can refrain from establishing a dual connectivity connection. If an amount of downlink data is above a threshold, operations can include establishing a dual connectivity connection. In some cases, thresholds and/or the decision to initiate dual connectivity can be determined based on the state data associated with the UE, such as a battery status, a level of user interaction, and the like.
Antenna keyhole management in wireless radio communication
In one embodiment, a mobile receiver of a mobile station in communication with a current base station of a plurality of base stations receives hello packets from one or more base stations the plurality of base stations, each hello packet including a base station identifier that identifies which base station transmitted that packet. The receiver determines, based on the hello packets, signal strength values associated with each of the plurality of base stations. The receiver periodically analyzes the signal strength values associated with the current base station, to determine whether those signal strength values exceed a threshold value associated with the current base station.
Decentralized base station load balancing and power
A method and base station for distributing wireless device traffic load in a wireless communication system having a plurality of base stations are provided. A method includes determining a wireless device traffic load on a serving base station of the plurality of base stations. The method also includes determining a priority for each of a plurality of target base stations of the plurality of base stations, the priority being based at least in part on a number of wireless devices being served by the serving base station that receive a signal from a corresponding target base station that exceeds a threshold. The method further includes determining whether to change the load of the serving base station and sending a load change request to a target base station having a highest priority based on a comparison of the load on the serving base station to a load change threshold.
Core network selection method, apparatus, and system
Embodiments provide a core network selection method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes the following steps: obtaining first dedicated core network (DCN) information from an access network device, where the first DCN information includes information about at least one DCN that can be accessed by the access network device. The method also includes selecting a to-be-accessed DCN from the at least one DCN according to the first DCN information, and sending information about the to-be-accessed DCN to the access network device, so that the access network device determines a core network device according to the information about the to-be-accessed DCN.
Bearer Modification Method and Access Network Device
A bearer modification method and an access network device. The method includes determining, by an access network device, that a terminal device completes a complete registration procedure, or determining that the terminal device does not complete the complete registration procedure, and waiting for the terminal device to complete the complete registration procedure, and modifying, by the access network device, a radio access bearer of the terminal device.
FREQUENCY BAND SWITCHING METHOD, APPARATUS, TERMINAL DEVICE, COMMUNICATION NODE AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure provides a frequency band switching method, an apparatus, a terminal device, a communication node and a computer-readable storage medium. The frequency band switching method comprises: determining a need for switching a frequency band of an uplink operation according to transmission power information of a terminal device when the uplink operation of the terminal device is performed in a first frequency band; performing, by the terminal device, a beam scanning for a second frequency band to switched to; and switching, by the terminal device, to the second frequency band according to a beam scanning result.
