Techniques for providing uplink-based mobility
Techniques are described for wireless communication. A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) includes identifying, while the UE is in a connected mode with a network, a radio resource configuration of the UE, selecting a dedicated set of resources for the UE or a common set of resources for a plurality of UEs based at least in part on the identified radio resource configuration, and transmitting a pilot signal to the network using the selected set of resources. Methods for wireless communication at a network access device and a network access device controller are also described.
EFFICIENT AND SECURE COMMUNICATION USING WIRELESS SERVICE IDENTIFIERS
Systems and methods are provided for reducing communications between servers and a mobile device and providing enhanced security and privacy to wireless beacon services. This can involve a broadcast device transmitting a beacon transmission using a short range wireless radio, such a Bluetooth or WiFi, and including a MAC address, a first unique identifier, and a beacon service identifier. The mobile device then selects one or more unique identifiers from received beacon transmissions, by filtering (that is, selecting) those beacon transmissions which include the beacon service identifier. The wireless device then takes further action, if the first unique identifier is present among the selected one or more unique identifiers, using stored information from the server. The stored information may be delivered to the wireless device in response to the wireless device sending the first unique identifier to a server, or the stored information may have been previously downloaded.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING COMMUNICATION AFTER MOBILITY IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to performing communication after mobility wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving, from a network, a measurement configuration comprising a measurement identity (ID); receiving, from a network, a conditional mobility command for a target cell, wherein the conditional mobility command comprises a mobility condition for the target cell, and the mobility condition for the target cell is related to the measurement ID; performing a mobility to the target cell based on the conditional mobility command for the target cell; and removing the measurement ID after performing the mobility to the target cell.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MODIFYING CONFIGURATION RELATED TO CONDITIONAL MOBILITY IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method performed by a master node (MN) serving a wireless device with a secondary node (SN) in dual connectivity (DC) in a wireless communication system, the method including: transmitting, to the wireless device, a conditional primary serving cell (PSCell) mobility command for a first cell in the SN; transmitting, to the SN, a message requesting a modification of the conditional PSCell mobility command for the first cell, the message including an identity (ID) of the wireless device, a target cell ID of the first cell for which the conditional PSCell mobility is to be modified, and an indication to modify the conditional PSCell mobility command for the first cell; receiving, from the SN, an acknowledgement (ACK) message for modification of the conditional PSCell mobility command for the first cell; and transmitting, to the wireless device, information related to modification of the conditional PSCell mobility command for the first cell.
Systems and methods for passive collection of neighbor base station configuration information through handover messages
Passive collection of neighbor base station configuration information through handover messages is provided. In one embodiment, a base station comprises: a processor coupled to a memory, the base station coupled to a core network for a wireless network operator, the base station radiates downlink RF signals to at least one UE and receives uplink RF signals from the UE. The processor implements: a UE handover function that receives and processes a handover request message associated with a UE transferring to the cell from a neighboring cell; and a handover request parser that evaluates information elements in the handover request message to extract neighbor information. The handover request parser stores the extracted neighbor information as a set of neighbor information in the memory; and wherein the processor is configured to adjust operation of the base station based on the set of neighbor information stored in the memory.
