Data associated with the user device is transmitted using the identified communication network.

The UE may determine that a gateway between the non-cellular radio network and the core network function of the cellular radio network is not configured. The UE may determine that a gateway selection policy of the cellular radio network is not configured. The UE may establish a connection to a legacy core network function of a legacy cellular radio network via a legacy gateway.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may establish a cellular connection with a base station associated with a cellular radio network. The UE may receive an access policy of the cellular radio network identifying an access preference rule for the UE to adopt for connections to a core network function of the cellular radio network, the access preference rule indicating for the UE to preferentially connect to the core network function via a non-cellular radio network. The UE may determine that a gateway between the non-cellular radio network and the core network function of the cellular radio network is not configured. The UE may determine that a gateway selection policy of the cellular radio network is not configured. The UE may establish a connection to a legacy core network function of a legacy cellular radio network via a legacy gateway.

In one embodiment, a first entity of a 5G network identifies an action that the first entity would like performed in the 5G network. The first entity of the 5G network sends a signed Holochain transaction indicative of the action to a second entity of the 5G network. The second entity of the 5G network generates a mutually-signed Holochain transaction by signing the signed Holochain transaction. The first entity of the 5G network receives the mutually-signed Holochain transaction from the second entity of the 5G network. The first entity of the 5G network publishes the mutually-signed Holochain transaction to a distributed hash table.

A system and method for wireless synchronization on a network are disclosed. In one embodiment, the wireless device includes a wireless transceiver and processing circuitry. The wireless transceiver wirelessly receives synchronization information including a superframe from a first wireless, reader device, and wirelessly transmits the synchronization information to a second wireless, reader device and a portable wireless device, and to wirelessly detect a presence of a portable wireless device. The processing circuitry communicates synchronization information to the second wireless, reader device and portable wireless device. The superframe is used to synchronize a wireless data exchange between the third wireless, reader device and the portable wireless device.
