SENSING FOR SIDELINK DISCONTINUOUS RECEPTION (DRX)

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) that indicates a DRX on duration. The UE may selectively perform sensing for sidelink resource selection outside of the DRX on duration. Numerous other aspects are described.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive one of a transmission profile, of an application executing on the UE, that indicates whether sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) is required, or a sidelink communication that indicates whether sidelink DRX is supported. The UE may communicate with one or more other UEs in accordance with a configuration for sidelink DRX, or with sidelink DRX disabled, based at least in part on the transmission profile or the sidelink communication. Numerous other aspects are described.

Power save for multi-user (MU) operation

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide an apparatus for wireless communications. The apparatus generally includes a processing system configured to generate a frame for triggering transmission of a plurality of data units from a plurality of wireless nodes, a first interface configured to output the frame for transmission to the plurality of wireless nodes, and a second interface configured to obtain the plurality of data units after outputting the frame for transmission, wherein the plurality of data units have different lengths.

Preemption indicator techniques

Techniques are disclosed relating to downlink control information for wireless communications. In some embodiments, the downlink control information includes code block group information that indicates which code block groups are transmitted and soft buffer handling information that indicates whether to flush previously-determined soft bits that correspond to one or more code block groups.

Battery efficient wireless network connection and registration for a low-power device

A client device is configured to communicate with an access point over a wireless network, exchanging data with the access point over a selected communication channel. The client device stores an identifier of the selected communication channel. After the wireless connection to the access point has ended, the client device initiates a process to reconnect to the access point over the selected communication channel using the stored identifier.

Interaction of discontinuous reception (DRX) with positioning reference signal (PRS) resources

Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) operating in discontinuous reception (DRX) mode receives a DRX configuration, receives a reference signal resource configuration, determines, at least based on the DRX configuration and the reference signal resource configuration, whether an overlap exists between a reference signal occasion of a plurality of reference signal occasions of the reference signal resource configuration and an active time of the DRX configuration, receives or transmits at least based on a determined overlap, at least a first reference signal in the reference signal occasion, and receives or transmits, while remaining in an active state of the DRX configuration, at least based on the determined overlap, at least a second reference signal in remaining reference signal occasions of the plurality of reference signal occasions after expiration of the active time.

Secondary cell dormancy for new radio carrier aggregation

A UE may enter a dormant state, e.g., for power savings. The systems, methods, and apparatus described herein may provide ways for the UE to transition between an active state and a dormant state, as well as UE behavior in a dormant state. The apparatus may be a UE configured to receive an indication of a bandwidth part (BWP) switch for a secondary cell and to transition between an active state and a dormant state for the secondary cell based on the indication of the BWP switch.

There is provided an electronic apparatus that enables a line-of-sight detection function at an appropriate timing, thereby achieving power saving, for example. The line-of-sight detection function can be enabled with less power consumption. The electronic apparatus includes at least one memory and at least one processor which function as a line-of-sight detection unit configured to detect a line-of-sight position based on a line-of-sight of a user, and a control unit configured to perform control so that, in a state where a first content is displayed on a display unit, the line-of-sight detection unit detects the line-of-sight position of the user in response to a second content being displayed on the display unit, wherein the second content is to be displayed together with the first content.

Configuration for ungrouped wake up signal and group wake up signal

The present disclosure relates to transmitting and receiving a group wake-up signal (WUS) in conjunction with an ungrouped WUS. A base station may group one or more UEs in a UE group, while other UEs may not be assigned to a UE group. The configuration of WUS resources and WUS sequences for grouped UEs and other UEs is a challenge. The base station may transmit, to one or more UEs in the UE group, a resource allocation of a group WUS resource within a set of WUS resources associated with a paging occasion that is assigned to the one or more UEs in the UE group. A UE, after receiving the resource allocation, may determine a location of the group WUS resource within the set of WUS resources. The UE may monitor for a group WUS at the determined location in the resource allocation of the group WUS resource.

Network devices include a memory and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to determine a connection state of one or more first client devices, and in response to the determination that none of the one or more first client devices are connected to the wireless network for a predetermined time period, cause one or more second client devices currently connected to network devices other than a predetermined network device in the wireless network to connect to the predetermined network device. The network devices other than the predetermined network device turn off their wireless access function such that the wireless access function of only the predetermined network device is kept on.
