11570649 · 2023-01-31 · ·

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide techniques for determining synchronization signal (SS)/physical broadcast channel (PBCH) block (SSB)-based measurement timing configuration (SMTC) for measurement objects for which a user equipment is to measure feedback information in one or more measurement gaps. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Methods and systems for establishing a connection between devices in unlicensed radio frequency spectrum

A method for establishing a wireless connection between a user equipment (UE) device and a base station in unlicensed radio frequency (RF) spectrum includes (a) receiving, at the UE device, a plurality of RF beams broadcasted by the base station, (b) identifying a selected RF beam of the plurality of RF beams having control information with a maximum received signal level, and (c) identifying a first channel occupancy time (COT1) of the base station from control information of the selected RF beam.

Methods to mitigate denial of service attacks on time synchronization using link redundancy for industrial/autonomous systems

Systems and methods in which devices synchronize their clocks for purposes of data transmission are described. Particularly, the disclosed systems and methods provide detection and mitigation of interference by malicious (or non-malicious) wireless devices with communication of time synchronized data over wireless networks. Systems and methods are provided where times statistics related to multiple instances of wireless time synchronization are collected and collated. Devices in the system can discipline their internal clocks based on the collated time statistics.

Triggering reference signals in wireless networks

Aspects provide a mechanism for activating a secondary serving cell (SCell) in a wireless communication network supporting a multi-cell transmission environment. In some examples, a scheduled entity (e.g., a UE) in a connected mode with a primary serving cell (PCell) may synchronize with the SCell to activate the SCell for multi-cell communication with the PCell and the SCell. To enable synchronization with the SCell, the PCell may trigger communication and processing of one or more reference signals between the scheduled entity and the SCell.

Disclosed is a method and device for indicating a random access physical resource, which may include: semi-statically configuring an internal structure of a random access slot through a broadcast channel. A computer-readable storage medium is further provided in the present disclosure.

Method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium for providing synchronization signal block (SSB) transmission pattern

Embodiments include methods performed by a second network node in a wireless communications network that includes a first network node, the second network node, and a third network node. Such methods include receiving, from the first network node, a configuration comprising a pattern indicative of whether or not each of a plurality of Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) transmissions, that are configured based on a nominal timing, are actually transmitted by the third network node according to the nominal timing. Such methods include, based on the received configuration, managing transmission and/or reception configurations for one or more of the following: one or more cells served by the second network node; and one or more UEs served by the second network node via the one or more cells. Other embodiments include second network nodes configured to perform such methods.

Resource Partitioning for Pre-emption Indication

Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are disclosed herein. The UE may attempt to decode sidelink synchronization signals (SLSSs) received on component carriers (CCs) of a carrier aggregation. In one configuration, synchronization resources for SLSS transmissions may be aligned across the CCs at subframe boundaries in time, restricted to a portion of the CCs, and restricted to a same sub-frame. The UE may, for multiple CCs, determine a priority level for the CC based on indicators in the SLSSs received on the CC. The UE may select, from the CCs on which one or more SLSSs are decoded, the CC for which the determined priority level is highest. The UE may determine a reference timing for sidelink communication based on the one or more SLSSs received on the selected CC.
