Method and system for collecting and managing remote sensor data
11174721 · 2021-11-16 · ·

A system, method, and device for monitoring one or more sensors at a remote location. The system allows a user to register multiple sensors to the user's account. When the sensors are deployed at a remote location for measuring various properties of their surrounding environments, they collect data which is then transmitted to a server. The user may then monitor the data by connecting to the server via a client device, and receive alerts when the data satisfies certain conditions.

Methods for Tracking Area Management for Moving RAN

A method performed by a network node (160) includes serving a cell area by a first physical network node for a first time duration. The first physical network node uses an identifier of a logical network node. For a second time duration, the cell area is served by a second physical network node. The second physical network node uses the identifier of the logical network node. The first physical network node serves the cell area with a first frequency band and the second physical network node serves the cell area with a second frequency band.

Methods for controlling unauthorized aerial UEs

Exemplary embodiments include methods performed by a network node of a radio access network (RAN). Such embodiments can include establishing a connection with a user equipment (UE) in a cell served by the network node, and determining that the UE is engaged in unauthorized aerial operation. Unauthorized operation can include various UE operational conditions. Such embodiments can also include, based on determining the unauthorized aerial operation, performing at least one of the following operations: restricting the performance of the connection; and sending the UE a message comprising an indication that the connection will be released, and one or more conditions that the UE must meet before attempting to reestablish the connection. Embodiments also include complementary methods performed by one or more core network nodes and/or functions, as well as various network nodes and/or functions that are configured to perform various disclosed methods.

Handling of periodic radio access network (RAN) based notification area (RNA) timer

A method and wireless device for handling a periodic RNA update timer are disclosed. A method is implemented in a wireless device (WD) for stopping an update timer based on a condition including that the WD: receives an RRC Setup message triggering transition of the WD to an RRC_CONNECTED state in response to an RRC Resume request message; receives an RRC Suspend message indicating that the WD is to stay in an RRC_INACTIVE state in response to an RRC Resume Request message; receives an RRC Release message triggering transition of the WD to an RRC_IDLE state in response to an RRC Resume Request message; fails to receive an RRC Resume message, RRC Suspend message or an RRC Release message after sending an RRC Resume Request message; or the WD enters the RRC_IDLE state from the RRC-INACTIVE state without transitioning through the RRC_CONNECTED state.
