Multiple context issue for single UE in the network
Systems, methods and computer software are disclosed for resolving multiple contexts for a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless network. In one embodiment a method includes maintaining, for a coordinating node hosting a first Radio Access Technology (RAT) controller and a second RAT controller simultaneously, a centrally maintained database; determining, based on the contents of the centrally maintained database, when the UE is registering with the second RAT controller while currently registered with the first RAT controller; and sending, by the second RAT controller, a deregistration command to the first RAT controller the UE was registered with, wherein context is freed and wherein resources held at both the coordinating node and at a base station are freed.

Handover of a wireless device in a network
A target access and mobility management function (AMF) receives, from a source AMF, a first message for a handover of a wireless device. A second message requesting creation of at least one first session for the wireless device is sent to a target session management function (SMF). A third message confirming creation of the at least one first session is received from the target SMF. Based on the third message, a fourth message causing release of at least one second session for the wireless device is sent to the source AMF.
Method and Apparatus for Access or RAT Restriction
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide method and apparatus for access or RAT restriction. A method at a first access management entity of a network comprises determining that a user equipment (UE) is using LTE-M radio access technology (RAT). The method further comprises obtaining access restriction or RAT restriction data associated with the UE, wherein the access restriction or RAT restriction data indicates that LTE-M RAT type is restricted. The method further comprises determining whether the UE using LTE-M is allowed to attach or register to the network based on the obtained access restriction or RAT restriction data associated with the UE.

Communication Method and Terminal Device
A communication method includes a terminal device that sends a user plane resource establishment request message to a network device, and receives a feedback message from the network device for the user plane resource establishment request message, where the feedback message includes a cause value of a user plane resource establishment failure. The terminal device performs, based on the cause value, an operation corresponding to the cause value. Different cause values may correspond to different operations. In this way, a communication link between the terminal device and the network device is established. In addition, in a scenario with a poor communication condition, the terminal device may deregister from a currently registered network, and register with another network.

Method and device for WLAN aggregation control
The present invention provides a method for WLAN aggregation control, comprising: receiving, by a base station, WLAN information of a UE, said WLAN information of the UE comprises one or more of the following: user preference information, WLAN information of a WLAN node with which the UE is being associated, WLAN information of a WLAN node reselected by the UE, de-association information of the UE with a WLAN node, WLAN enabling information of the UE, and WLAN disabling information of the UE; and determining, by the base station, whether WLAN aggregation is to be established or deleted for the UE according to the received WLAN information of the UE. With the present application, WLAN aggregation can be reasonably controlled. Also, the present invention provides a method by a terminal, comprising: identifying a connection status with a node in a second network, setting status information associated with the node based on the connection status, and transmitting, to a base station in a first network, a report message including the status information.

Terminal performing registration in non-3GPP access and method performed by same
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method performed by a terminal that performs registration in a non-3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) access. According to the method, the terminal may receive a rejection message including a value of a back-off timer. In addition, the terminal may determine a value of a non-3GPP de-registration timer on the basis of the value of the back-off timer. In this case, the value of the non-3GPP de-registration timer may be determined to be greater than the value of the back-off timer.
