USER LOCALIZATION IN A WIRELESS CELLULAR NETWORK

A method for user localization in a cellular network includes receiving, by a receiver unit, Orthogonal Time Frequency Space (OTFS) modulated Constant-Amplitude-Zero-Autocorrelation (CAZAC) sequences generated and transmitted in a Doppler-delay domain by a transmitter unit. The method further includes estimating, by the receiver unit, Doppler shift and/or relative speed between the transmitter unit and the receiver unit by filtering the received OTFS modulated CAZAC sequences.

The present disclosure relates to a base station apparatus and a method of operating a base station apparatus capable of improving accuracy of beam steering (steerability) in performing beamforming using an antenna based on multiple input multiple output (MIMO).

VEHICLE COMMUTE LOCATION PATTERNS BASED ON USER LOCATION DATA

Methods, computer-readable media, software, and system may generally identify, determine, and understand the significance of commute location data using telematics data. The system and methods may identify significant commute location data and points by analyzing telematics data and capturing GPS locations associated with the mobility of a user. The commute location data may be classified as data points including origin, destination, and waypoints. This commute location data may be used with metadata to identify significant locations associated with the user. The commute location data may also be used with metadata to understand mobility behavior of the user. Lastly, the commute location data may be used with metadata to determine risk associated with the user, such as based on a risk map.

VEHICLE MOBILITY PATTERNS BASED ON USER LOCATION DATA

Methods, computer-readable media, software, and system may generally build and quantify mobility patterns based on user location data, both at an individual level and an aggregate level. The system may determine the origin and destination data for each trip taken by a user. The system may then define areas of mobility using a mobility graph built from the data. The graph may include nodes and edges. In some examples, the nodes are constructed from the origins and destinations of the trajectories using spatial clustering techniques. Further, the edges between nodes may be constructed based on the trips between them, such as two nodes are connected by an edge if there is at least one trip between them. The edges may be given different weights based on trip frequencies. The system may then determine a region of mobility using the generated mobility graph and data clustering techniques.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING LOCATION

A system and method for determining location information with respect to a portable device and an object. The system and method may be based on UWB communications, and more particularly with respect to a first path power determined with respect the UWB communications. In one embodiment, a differential first path power may be determined based on first and second first path power values obtained respectively by first and second devices via UWB communications with the portable device.

ENHANCEMENT ON MMW SCG MEASUREMENT CONFIGURATION AND ADDING/SWITCHING
20230053572 · 2023-02-23 ·

This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for an SCG measurement configuration and adding/switching enhancement. A UE may receive information associated with an MCG and training, based on at least one of the information associated with the MCG or historical information of the UE for an SCG, an ML model of UE, of network and interworking in between that indicates whether a location of the UE is within a coverage area of the SCG. The UE may communicate with a base station based on an indication of the ML model. The indication of the ML model may be indicative of whether the UE is within the coverage area of the SCG.

Methods for tracking a signal origin by a spectrum analysis and management device are disclosed. Signal characteristics of other known emitters are used for obtaining a position of an emitter of a signal of interest. In one embodiment, frequency difference of arrival technique is implemented. In another embodiment, time difference of arrival technique is implemented.

AUTOMATED CELL AZIMUTH ESTIMATION AND VALIDATION
20220369067 · 2022-11-17 ·

Locations and azimuths of cells of a communication network can be estimated, determined, and validated. Cell attribute management component (CAMC) can estimate, determine, and/or validate cell locations based on analysis of timing advance (TA) measurement data and/or location data associated with devices associated with base stations associated with cells. CAMC can estimate azimuth of a cell associated with a base station based on analysis of a validated cell location of the cell and location data associated with devices associated with the cell. CAMC can determine whether a recorded azimuth of the cell is validated based on analysis of the estimated azimuth of the cell and the recorded azimuth of the cell. CAMC can tag the recorded azimuth of the cell as validated if applicable azimuth accuracy criteria is met, inaccurate if applicable azimuth criteria is not met, or omni if the cell is an omni cell.
