METHODS, APPARATUS AND SYSTEMS FOR SCHEDULING AND TRANSMISSION OF SYSTEM INFORMATION IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
Methods, apparatus and systems for scheduling and transmission of system information in a wireless communication are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication node is disclosed. The method comprises: transmitting, to a first wireless communication device having a first device type, a first configuration associated with the first device type for the first wireless communication device to perform paging occasion monitoring, wherein a device having the first device type is a reduced capability device or is configured with extended discontinuous reception (eDRX); and transmitting, to a second wireless communication device having a second device type, a second configuration associated with the second device type for the second wireless communication device to perform paging occasion monitoring, wherein a device having the second device type is not a reduced capability device and not configured with eDRX.
PAGING EARLY INDICATION LOCATION DETERMINATION
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for PEI location determination. According to certain aspects, a method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a network entity, a configuration of a paging early indication (PEI) that indicates, for multiple paging occasions (POs) in multiple paging frames (PFs), whether paging physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) are scheduled in the multiple POs, identifying a reference PF from one of the multiple PFs, and monitoring for the PEI in a location of a PEI occasion determined based on the reference PF and at least one timing offset.

Control plane cellular internet-of-things (IOT) optimization indication
A session management function (SMF) receives, from an access and mobility management function (AMF), a first request to establish a first session for a wireless device. The first request comprises a cellular internet-of-things (IoT) optimization indication for transfer of data of cellular IoT over a control plane. A second request to establish a second session between the SMF and the UPF is sent to a user plane function (UPF). The data for cellular IoT is received from the UPF via the second session. The data is sent to the AMF via the first session.

IDLE MODE PROCESSING METHOD, USER EQUIPMENT AND CHIP
An idle mode processing method executable in a user equipment (UE) is provided, and includes: determining a UE mobility state of the UE; applying a speed scaling factor associated with a low mobility state of the UE to an idle mode processing parameter in response to the UE is in the low mobility state, the idle mode processing parameter is utilized for a criterion for triggering a specific idle mode operation in the idle mode, and the low mobility state is a state where a speed of the UE is lower than a first speed threshold; and adjusting the criterion using the speed scaling factor to delay or skip execution of the specific idle mode operation.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR WIRELESS DEVICE MODES
Disclosed herein are systems and methods for facilitating wireless communication of a wearable device. In one aspect, a wireless device receives a paging message from a cellular network, via a wireless link between the wireless device and a companion device. The paging message can be received while a cellular modem of the wireless device is operating in reduced power mode and not registered with the cellular network, and the companion device is registered with the cellular network. The wireless device can transition the cellular modem from the reduced power mode to an active mode in response to receiving the paging message via the wireless link with the companion device. The wireless device can register with the cellular network after the modem has transitioned to active mode, to establish a cellular link directly with the cellular network.

RESPONSE INDICATION METHOD, AND RESPONSE DETERMINATION METHOD AND DEVICE
A response indication method, performed by a terminal which is at least provided with a first Subscriber Identity Module card, includes: receiving a paging message through the first SIM card; and sending indication information to a base station that sends the paging message; in which the first SIM card does not respond to the paging message, the indication information indicates to the base station that the first SIM card is not to respond to the paging message. Other reasons for sending the indication information are also discussed.
Data transmission method performed by base station in wireless communication system, and apparatus using same
Provided are a data transmission method performed by a base station in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus using the method. The base station transmits a message requesting information for data transmission to a second base station and receives, from the second base station, a response message to the message requesting the information for data transmission, wherein the information for data transmission is to transmit data on a terminal in a light connection state.
