RAN area ID configuration
A method comprising configuring a user equipment in a low activity state to operate within a radio access network wherein a radio access network notification area for the user equipment is defined based on a list of logically associated radio access network paging areas, wherein each of the logically associated radio access network paging areas is a subset of a core network tracking area identified by a paging area code value which is unique within the core network associated tracking area.

Method for paging, and access network device, terminal device and core network device
Disclosed are a method for paging, and an access network device, a terminal device and a core network device. The method comprises: a first access network device acquiring a tracking area list of a terminal device; and the first access network device determining, according to the tracking area list, a target paging area of the first access network device initiating paging to the terminal device.
METHODS OF SENDING PAGING SIGNALING, PAGING METHODS, INFORMATION SENDING METHODS AND APPARATUSES THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a method of sending paging signaling, including: receiving first identifier information of a terminal in an authorized frequency band from a base station; sending paging signaling including the first identifier information to the base station. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, after receiving the first identifier information from the base stations, the core network may send paging signaling to these base stations sending the first identifier information, such that these base stations sending the first identifier information may further broadcast the paging signaling to page the terminal.

METHOD FOR INCREASING PAGING RESPONSE SPEED OF TERMINAL AND TERMINAL
A method for improving a paging response speed of a user equipment (UE), includes: camping, by the UE on a first cell of a first network, the UE being in an RRC connected state; when a first preset condition is met, sending, by an access network device, a first message to the UE, the first message being used to indicate the UE to enter an RRC inactive state; recording, by the access network device, that the UE is in an RRC inactive state; and in response to the first message that is received, entering, by the UE, the RRC inactive state; and when a second preset condition is met, camping, by the UE, on a second cell of the first network, where the UE is in an RRC inactive state, and the first cell and the second cell are the same or different.
Device contexts, operational modes, and policy driven enhancements for paging in advanced networks
Facilitating device contexts, operational modes, and policy driven enhancements for paging in advanced networks (e.g., 4G, 5G, 6G, and beyond) is provided herein. Operations of a network device can comprise analyzing a group of contextual data for a user equipment device, and mobility management behaviors historically implemented for the user equipment device and based on an indication that a page request is scheduled to be sent to the user equipment device. The operations can also comprise configuring a paging message for the user equipment device based on the contextual data and the mobility management behaviors. Further, the operations can comprise sending the paging message to the user equipment device.
