Communication Method, Access Network Device, and Terminal
A communication method, an access network device, and a terminal, the method comprising sending, by a first access network device, in a cell of the first access network device and corresponding to a radio network area of a terminal in a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state, and in response to the terminal in the RRC inactive state needing to be paged, a first paging message paging the terminal and sending, by the first access network device to a second access network device, a paging request message requesting to page the terminal, where the second access network device is an access network device other than the first access network device, and where the second access network device corresponds to the radio network area.
Paging processing method and device
A paging processing method and a paging processing device are provided. The paging processing method includes: when a remote UE needs to monitor and/or receive a paging message through a paging relay, determining, by the remote UE, a relay UE corresponding to the remote UE, the relay UE being configured to monitor and/or receive the paging message transmitted by a network to the remote UE; establishing, by the remote UE, a paging relay connection with the relay UE; and after the establishment of the paging relay connection, monitoring and/or receiving, by the remote UE, the paging message forwarded by the relay UE.

Paging with optimized transmission resources in a mobile network
An embodiment of the invention is a Core Network CN entity such as Mobility Management Entity MME, capable of sending a paging request message such as S1 Paging message to a Radio Access Network RAN entity such as eNodeB, for paging a User Equipment UE, said CN entity configured to: provide in a paging request message, control information enabling said CN entity to influence the consumption by said RAN entity of radio transmission resources for said paging.

Paging techniques in a wireless backhaul network
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide a mechanism for a wireless node to identify resources that are controlled by a different wireless node in the wireless backhaul communications network and in some cases autonomously transmit certain transmissions using resources of the different wireless node. A first wireless node may receive signaling that indicates whether such transmissions may be autonomously transmitted via configuration information or a flag provided in signaling to the first wireless node. The first wireless node may in some cases determine that autonomous transmissions are enabled based on a type of communication or node that provides the information for the transmissions from the first wireless node. In some cases, a priority associated with the transmissions may be used to determine whether autonomous transmissions are enabled.

Paging Carrier Assignment For Narrowband Radio Communication System
The invention proposes a user equipment, UE, configuring a paging carrier, wherein the UE performs the steps of monitoring a first paging carrier for paging messages, receiving a message from a network node, the message comprising paging carrier information indicating a second paging carrier selected by the network node or a further network node, wherein the second paging carrier is different from the first paging carrier, and in response to receiving the message, monitoring the second paging carrier for paging messages; further the invention proposes corresponding network nodes; further the invention proposes corresponding methods for the UE and the network nodes.
