UE STATISTICS COLLECTION IN AN EMERGENCY AREA

Methods for collecting UE statistics in a specific area and the respective device and node are disclosed. The method in a first core network node comprises in response to receiving from a second core network node or an application functionality a command requesting UE statistics of idle UEs and connected UEs located in at least one base station covering at least a part of the specific area, transmitting at least one UE statistics request message to the at least one base station to trigger the base station to obtain UE statistics of idle UEs for the base station. The first core network node receives from the at least one base station, at least one UE statistics response message that includes the idle UE statistics, obtains UE statistics of connected UEs located in the at least one base station, and transmitting to, at least one of the second core network node or the application functionality, a report message including the UE statistics of the idle UEs and connected UEs located in the at least one base station.

Techniques are disclosed for in-home health intercom and notification. In one example, a first device receives a message comprising a description of an event of a first person in an environment from a first user device using a first transmission protocol. The first device detects that the message is an event message. The first device transmits the event message to the second computing device in the environment using a second transmission protocol, where the first device and the second device are in operable communication using a local area network. The first device receives, using the second transmission protocol, a response from the second device that the second computing device has transmitted the event message to a second user device.

Method and system for distributing, across a territory, data aggregated at a mobile communication network cell level

A method distributes cell-level aggregated data available from a mobile communication network and aggregated at the level of single network cells. The method subdivides a geographic area in geographic area portions, and causes mobile terminals situated in the geographic area to calculate and provide respective geographic position estimates to a data processing system. An overall number of geographic position estimates are distributed by assigning to each geographic area portion a respective number of geographic position estimates. Cell-level aggregated data relating to a network cell is received, and for each network cell, covered geographic area portions are determined. The cell-level aggregated data of the network cell is distributed according to a respective distribution factor. A distribution map of the cell-level aggregated data is generated in which to each of the geographic area portions of the geographic area of interest a respective quota of the cell-level aggregated data is assigned.
