COMMUNICATION BASED ON PLURALITY OF SIMS
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for a wireless communication device to perform communication based on a plurality of SIMs. The method may include the steps of: transmitting a request message to a first network node of a second network, the request message including first information pertaining to the plurality of SIMs; and receiving an acceptance message for the request message from the first network node of the second network.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE MULTIPLE SIM AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a processor connected to a first SIM and a second SIM, and RF devices used for communication based on the first SIM and on the second SIM, the processor identifies expiration of a timer for paging monitoring associated with the second SIM while use of the RF devices is allocated to the first SIM, to allocate use of the RF devices to the second SIM to perform first paging monitoring and first-type measurement, reallocates use of the RF devices to the first SIM according to completion of the first paging monitoring and the first-type measurement, identifies expiration of the timer for the paging monitoring associated with the second SIM while use of the RF devices is reallocated to the first SIM, and allocates use of the RF devices to the second SIM to perform second paging monitoring and second-type measurement.
Wireless Connection State
A wireless device receives, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) message for an RRC connection with a first public land mobile network (PLMN). The wireless device transmits, to a second PLMN, a message indicating a state of the RRC connection of the wireless device with the first PLMN.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM TO DELIVER PAGES TO WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICES BASED ON WIRELESS FIDELITY NETWORK IDENTIFIERS
A wireless communication network pages a wireless communication device over Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) access points. To send the page, a WIFI gateway identifies WIFI networks that serve the wireless user device. The WIFI gateway determines individual ones of the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) access points to page the wireless user device based on the individual ones of the WIFI networks that serve the wireless user device. The WIFI gateway indicates the OFDM access points to a paging system. The paging system receives a page for the wireless user device and responsively transfers the page to a current one of the OFDM access points indicated by the WIFI gateway. The current one of the OFDM access points receives the page and wirelessly transfers the page to the wireless user device.

Method and system for handling registration and session management in wireless communication system
Embodiments herein achieve a method for handling registration and session management in a wireless communication system. The method includes registering, by a User Equipment (UE), with a first core network entity over a 3GPP access network and a non-3GPP access network. Further, the method includes triggering, by the UE, a registration procedure to a second core network over the 3GPP access network when a periodic timer of the UE expires in an OOS state. Further, the method includes receiving, by the UE, a non-access stratum (NAS) message, over the 3GPP access network, with an indication to register for the non-3GPP access network with the second core network entity. Further, the method includes reinitiating the registration procedure to register again for the non-3GPP access with the second core network entity through the non-3GPP access network.
PROCEDURE TO UPDATE THE PARAMETERS RELATED TO UNIFIED ACCESS CONTROL
A UE is in a connected mode over a non 3GPP access and in an idle mode over a 3GPP access. The UE receives a NOTIFICATION message from a core network node over the non-3GPP access. The UE determines, when performing a service request procedure, MT_acc=0 as an access category to be associated with the service request procedure upon receiving the NOTIFICATION message. The UE checks whether an access attempt for an access category is barred or allowed. When the access category is allowed, the UE sends a RRC connection setup request to a base station and transmits a SERVICE REQUEST message to the core network node after a RRC connection is established.
MULTI-CARD USER EQUIPMENT AND COMMUNICATION METHOD THEREFOR, AND NETWORK DEVICE
A communication method for multi-card user equipment, comprising: after a multi-card UE finishes registering to a first operator network by using a first USIM, and when receiving an information request that is initiated by the first operator network for acquiring the USIM that is used by the multi-card UE and that belongs to a non-first operator network, the multi-card UE feeding back information of the USIM belonging to the non-first operator network to the first operator network; and the multi-card UE receiving configuration information for the non-first operator network that is sent by the first operator network, and operating in the non-first operator network according to the received configuration information.
Configuring non-standalone mode for a multi-subscriber identity module user equipment
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that the UE is operating using a first subscriber identity module (SIM) in a non-standalone mode associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT, and that a second SIM has been activated for the UE. The UE may determine, based at least in part on user input, whether to operate in a multi-SIM mode, where both the first SIM and the second SIM are active, or to operate in a single SIM mode where only the first SIM, and not the second SIM, is active. The UE may selectively deactivate the second SIM based at least in part on determining whether to operate in the multi-SIM mode or the single SIM mode. Numerous other aspects are provided.
