SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE ACCESS BY REDUCED CAPABILITY RADIO FREQUENCY DEVICES
An electronic device may transmit a communication request to a base station having an indication of a number of its receive branches and an indication of whether the communication request is designated as an urgent service fulfillment. The base station may delay a denial of the communication request until receiving the indication of whether the communication request is designated as using the urgent service fulfillment to reduce a likelihood of prematurely rejecting the communication request. The base station may also handover the communication request to a base station that supports the urgent service fulfillment. The base station may also be barred from transferring the user equipment to a frequency layer preferred by the base station when the communication request of the user equipment is designated as an urgent service fulfillment.
COMMUNICATIONS WITHIN A USER EQUIPMENT - INITIATED CHANNEL OCCUPANCY TIME
The present application relates to devices and components including apparatus, systems, and methods for sharing a user equipment—initiated channel occupancy time.
Reuse-one channel access for new radio communications in unlicensed spectrum
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for reuse one channel access for new radio communications in unlicensed spectrum. A method that may be performed by a first base station (BS) includes occupying a bandwidth, based on a category 4 (CAT4) listen before talk (LBT) procedure on the bandwidth, wherein the CAT4 LBT procedure is based on a first contention window (CW); arranging a category 2 (CAT2) LBT occasion for the bandwidth during a channel occupancy time (COT) for the bandwidth; and receiving an indication that at least a second BS has occupied the bandwidth during the CAT2 LBT occasion.
Traffic characteristics for target wake time (TWT) negotiation
A first communication device generates a frame that includes i) requested values of parameters of a target wake time (TWT) schedule in a wireless local area network (WLAN), and ii) information regarding traffic characteristics of data units that will be communicated during the TWT schedule. As part of negotiating the TWT schedule, the first communication device transmits the frame to a second communication device that will participate in the TWT schedule.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TRANSMITTING PPDU
A method for transmitting a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) and a device using the same are provided. The device receives a trigger frame for requesting a transmission of a high efficiency (HE) trigger-based (TB) PPDU and transmits the HE TB PPDU. A duration of the HE TB PPDU is calculated based on a duration of the trigger frame.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GRANT-FREE UPLINK COMMUNICATION
Embodiments of apparatuses and methods for grant-free uplink communication may be applicable to communication systems, such as wireless communication systems. In an example, a method for grant-free uplink communication can include requesting, by a user equipment, a plurality of instances of configured grants, each with at least one of a specific resource level, repetition, or period. The method can also include receiving, at the user equipment, a pre-allocation of the requested plurality of instances of the configured grants at the at least one of the specific resource level, repetition, or period. The method can further include transmitting, by the user equipment, data according to the pre-allocation. In some examples, the transmitting the data can include transmitting at varying data rates up to a level provided by the pre-allocation, depending on user equipment needs.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
This application discloses a communication method and a communication apparatus. The communication method includes: An IAB node receives first configuration information from a source donor base station, where the first configuration information includes N pieces of configuration information of an MT and N pieces of configuration information of a DU that are configured by N target donor base stations for the IAB node; and the DU of the IAB node uses one piece of configuration information in the N pieces of configuration information of the DU when the MT of the IAB node satisfies a specific condition, where N is greater than or equal to 1, the MT is configured to communicate with a parent node of the IAB node, the source donor base station, or the target donor base station, and the DU is configured to communicate with a child node of the IAB node or a terminal.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A communication apparatus transmits a radio frame complying with an IEEE802.11 standard series to another communication apparatus, or receives the radio frame from the other communication apparatus. Here, a MAC (Media Access Control) frame of the radio frame includes information concerning scheduling of transmission opportunities in which contention is restricted based on a time.
RESTRICTED TARGET WAIT TIME (R-TWT) OPERATIONS AND PARAMETERS
A wireless protocol performing Restricted Target Wait Time (R-TWT) signaling and its parameters to reduce latency, such as for real-time application traffic. Further control of traffic flow is provided during the R-TWT Service Period (SP), including whether: R-TWT SP can be extended, multiple overlapped R-TWT SPs on different links can be started, spatial reuse is required during R-TWT SP, allowance of transmission outside R-TWT SP, or use of Quiet element to protect R-TWT SP, whereby R-TWT operation (mode) is described with enhanced operations. Protocol is applicable to Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs), and is especially well suited for 802.11be 802.11ax, Real-Time Application (RTA) traffic such as on time sensitive networks, Wi-Fi and on Multi-Link Devices (MLDs).
Method and terminal for random access to small cell
The present invention relates to a method for random access to a small cell by means of a terminal. The method can include the steps of: receiving a plurality of settings for a random access preamble; selecting one of the plurality of settings; and transmitting the random access preamble according to the one selected setting. Here, a resource on which the random access preamble can be transmitted can be provided in plurality in one subframe, and the preamble transmitted on each resource is distinguishable.
