Methods and apparatus supporting random access procedures in a wireless network
A method performed by a wireless device is described herein. The wireless device operates in a wireless communications network. The wireless device provides a message to be sent to a network node operating in the wireless communications network. The message is a first scheduled message to be sent to the network node in a random access procedure. The message comprises a first indicator of a type of the message. The type of message has: a) a fixed size SDU, and b) a one byte header comprising the first indicator and lacking a second indicator of a length of a payload. The wireless device also initiates sending the provided message to the network node. Also described is a method performed by the network node receiving and initiating processing the message, based on the first indicator.
Radio link control unacknowledged mode receive techniques
A wireless device may receive a radio link control (RLC) protocol data unit (PDU) from a lower layer (e.g., from a media access control (MAC) layer) when processing communications (e.g., packets) received from another wireless device. The receiving wireless device may identify that the PDU is an RLC service data unit (SDU) segment based at least in part on an indication corresponding to a sequence number associated with the RLC SDU segment. The receiving wireless device may then determine that the RLC SDU segment is received out of order based on previously received PDUs or previously received RLC SDU segments, and initiate a reassembly timer based on the out of order determination for the RLC SDUs. If the remaining RLC SDU segments (e.g., that complete the RLC SDU) are received before reassembly timer expires, the wireless device may reassemble the RLC SDU to be passed to a higher layer.
Physical downlink control signaling detection method, device, and computer readable storage medium
The present disclosure relates to a physical downlink control signaling detection method, a device, and a computer readable storage medium, pertaining to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: determining a transmission position of wake-up signaling; and receiving, according to the transmission position of the wake-up signaling, the wake-up signaling transmitted by a base station, the wake-up signaling indicating whether a terminal is to detect physical downlink control signaling within a pre-determined time window.

Techniques and apparatuses for providing system information updates in a system using bandwidth parts
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may determine updated system information for a user equipment (UE), wherein the UE is associated with an initial access bandwidth part (BWP) and a configured BWP; and transmit the updated system information to the UE using at least one of unicast signaling, multicast signaling, the configured BWP, or a particular BWP that is different from the configured BWP. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Method and device for configuring control channel, method and device for detecting control channel, program and medium
A method and a device for configuring a control channel, a method and a device for detecting a control channel, a program and a medium are provided. The method for configuring a control channel includes: transmitting, by a network-side device, downlink control information (DCI) to a terminal in a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), where the DCI includes indication information for indicating not to monitor PDCCH; and transmitting the PDCCH to the terminal in a slot or a time-frequency resource where a fallback PDCCH subsequent to the PDCCH is located, when determining that the terminal does not successfully receive the DCI in the PDCCH.

User equipment and base station apparatus
User equipment includes a transmission unit that performs uplink transmissions to a base station apparatus via a plurality of uplink carriers; and a control unit that changes a transmission power value of a random access channel to be transmitted with one or more of the plurality of uplink carriers when priority levels are assigned to the respective uplink transmissions on the plurality of uplink carriers; wherein, when the transmission unit fails to transmit a random access preamble with the transmission power value of the random access channel that is changed by the control unit and the transmission unit retransmits a random access preamble, the control unit changes transmission power control of the random access preamble to be transmitted from normal transmission power control.
